Maundy Thursday

Holy Week is a reminder that we are given a second chance to END committing sins ... and START  a new BEGINNING.

Sa mga bata diyan na mahilig sumalungat at kung sumagot sa mga magulang ay wagas at dalisay... keep in mind that your parents are old ... and they don't deserve such disparaging remarks coming from your end.

Ilang Pasko na lang ang mga iyan mga Tsong ... ilang New Year ... at ilang birthdays. Hanggang ngayon ba binibigyan ninyo pa rin ba ng sama ng loob? Saan na ba ang konsensiya mo at ni konting regrets walang nabanaag sa mukha iyo? At tuwang-tuwa ka pa dahil napurohan mo sila?

Ang damot ninyo naman mga Ineng.  Sa loob ba naman ng 35 years or so na pagsuporta sa iyo ... at pagiintiendi ... wala ka pa ring respeto sa mga magulang mo? Ni minsan hindi man lang ninyo pinakinggan ang mga pangaral nila dahil sa tingin ninyo ... you know everything too well? Ang mga advices nila na binale-wala mo ...mga pangaral na lumabas lang sa isang tenga mo ...  because you don't want anybody na humaharang sa kung ano man ang gusto mong gawin. Such a selfish act ... para bang unrequited love sa mga teleserye  ... puro pagmamahal na hindi sinuksuklian ... dahil ayaw ... or feeling mo pinakialaman ka. 

Love is just a one way street para sa iyo ... KUHA ka lang nang KUHA ... pero wala kang intensyong ibalik ang kabaitang pinapakita sa iyo. Tanggap ka lang nang tanggap ... para kang isang bottomless pit ... at bukas ang dalawang kamay ... kung pwede lang pati paa ay bukas-paa rin tatanggap ng biyaya. Basta bigay ... tanggap lang ng tanggap. sky is the langit baga.  It is ironical wala man lang sa vocabulary mo ang MAGBIGAY. Feeling entitled ka kasi.

Your attitude and your example are heavy and pregnant with ironic undertones ... sana this Holy Week  mabigyan naman sana ninyo ng pansin at pagnilayan ang mga bagay at ugali mo that is bordering on rudeness and disrespect.

It is too condescending ... pinagpasensiyahan ka na lang ng mga magulang mo.

You FALL and GET UP to pick up the pieces and START all over again.

This is the SECOND CHANCE for you to make things RIGHT. You will never know if this privilege will be given to you again.

Think about this: TIME WASTED ... IS TIME GONE. Pag sinayang mo ang oras at pagkataon to make good sa second chance na ibinigay sa iyo ... goodbye na. Hindi na yan magbabalik. At wala nang may magtiwala sa iyo.

Slip Of The Pen

 If you are a grammar police who usually gets irritated and cannot stand your penchant for the use of the fractured King's language ... incoherent sentence structure and semantics ... mind-boggling syntax and word coordination ... this nook is not for you. 

But traveling from Aparri to Jolo ... we encountered signage in the streets that managed to put a smile on our faces ... even though Robin Padilla's grandiose display of bad opinions ... or China's flexing his superpower muscle ... has riled up and angered our tender sensibilities.

We are here to celebrate (not mock) the little cracks and flaws in how we communicate. All of us make mistakes ... and at a time when a kilo of rice at 20 pesos is next to impossibility ... we need a little outlet to have a hearty laugh.

And no matter how over-use the cliche goes ... Laughter is indeed ... the best medicine.

I am getting cynical seeing slips of the pen like this.  Was it an honest mistake or did somebody make that up to get attention and have a great time laughing? I am suspicious because the thought and the message were vividly expressed, except for the encircled word. Pwede bang ang g'ling g'ling ng sentence construction mo at pati use of  English pwede pasar na ... pagkatapos may isang major na pagkakamali? Hindi na ba uso ang proof-reading pagkatapos mo magprint ng public notice ... to think that everybody can read it ... and it is for public consumption.

If this is true and was posted on a glass wall in a restaurant ... Bless His Soul! But if it was done with the intent mentioned above ... you make a fool of yourself.
