Choice Cuts

 (Some Pinoy programs on TV barely make a glitch on our radar screen, but there were lines uttered that invaded our collective consciousness so much so that we find ourselves echoing its most famous lines in our everyday conversations. Some lines manage to put a smile on our faces making us happy and contented.

Whether intentional or accidental the classic lines resonate with us because we can relate to the scene and see our lives being lived out onscreen.)

(In an interview with hashtag Nikko Natividad...)

Nikko: Yong sayaw namin ... prinaktis namin ng umaga yon. Kunyari papasok kami ng 8 AM ... tapos sasayawin na namin sa It's Showtime at 11:30 AM.

Ganoon palagi, kaya hindi kami magkasabay-sabay. Kasi unang-una hindi naman kami talaga mga dancers. Pangalawa kulang kami sa oras ng praktis.

Luis Manzano: Yon pala yon. Akala ko dati sa Hashtags ... "kada hashtags ... ibaiba ang choreographer."

Natawa ako doon ... Luis.

Coincidence Ba ... O May Pinatatamaan

Eksena sa It's Showtime sa Rampanalo  at pinag-usapan ang paglalagay ng piso ng isang contestant sa sapatos para pampasuerte.

Anne" Para saan ba ang piso na yan at bakit?

Vice: Pampa-suerte

Jong: Parang anting anting

Anne: (nangungulit) Pero bakit piso ?

Vice: E di gawin mong 150 ... kung mayaman ka!

Anne: Gusto ko lang malaman kung bakit.

Vice: Hindi namin alam kung bakit ... hindi rin namin alam kung saan gagamitin ... ah basta confidential!

An Internet Message

Regarding confidential funds ... a friend shared his feelings if he is in the psychological shoes of a politician who has millions of money in front of him.

"What?  Are you just going to stare at the money? Using a familiar line: USE it ... or you will LOSE it. Take advantage of the situation while it is there."
