A Threat of Historical Revisionism?

With the threat of historical revisionism on the rise, we have to preemptively keep the narratives alive! Help us purchase bundles of storybooks from Adarna House on martial law. We have to educate the children on the terrors of what happened during those harsh times.

With your purchase, we can reach out to communities all over the country including Tawi-tawi, Panay Bukidnon tribe, the mountains of Benguet, and more!

How to BBM Supporters Love Him

How do I love thee let me count the ways: so goes Sonnet 43 by Elizabeth Browning. But this is how I see it - no sugar-coating and all.

BBM supporters' love for Bongbong can be best described as "love is blind".  In their case, it was also mute, deaf, and apparently to some slumbering and at some point ... comatose.

Not only did they miss the forewarning and the wake-up calls, but they also did not hear the Mayday and the SOS alarms so blaring and ear-splitting, and when smoke comes from all issues thrown his way, BBM supporters brush them aside and ignore them.

Their attitude was nonchalant, lackadaisical, detached, and unperturbed. As my friend, John said, "I am willing to give BBM a second chance, but when things go wrong ... (I pray not) don't blame me if I jump to the bandwagon that this cult became enablers and had done a disservice to the country by putting the wrong person at the helm."

Let's keep our fingers crossed and see the next six years unfold.
