Robin Padilla ... Ikaw Ba One-Sided?

According to Atty. Lorna Kapunan, Robin brings joy and excitement to the otherwise tedious trial.

***************
"I was interrupted," reklamo ni Robin.

Sabi ng isang netizen, "Don't interrupt a fool when he is making a mistake.

***************
"Better still ... give the number 1 senator the freedom to do more." Another netizen suggested.

"I want to see the mistakes be recorded in full color and in Panavision."
***************

Hindi ba niya alam na even the defense is one-sided?

Where in the world can you find ... that a prosecution is working for the defense and vice versa, aber?

***************
Ginoong Robin, wala akong nakitang problema sa prosecution at defense. Given po na na one-sided sila. The problem is the Senator-Judges na dapat ay impartial. They become partisan, Parang ikaw.

Aminin mo kasi , Robin, na kahit ano pa ang lumabas na irrefutable evidence and smoking guns… you are there to acquit… kahit nagmumura pa ang mga ebidensiya?

***************
Hindi ba na-realize ni Robin na every time he opens his mouth, laman siya ng internet? One wonders ... yon bang pagkatapos maeskandalo ang mga nanonood sa mga pinagsasabi niya ... the next day ito na naman siya creating a new viral content?

Sinasadya ba niya? Or subscriber lang siya ng "Good or bad publicity ... publicity pa rin?

***************
Imagine, after the last day of this week's trial, nag-post ulit siya sa kanyang FB account addressed to Gerville Luistro, and he reminded her na tungkulin talaga nila ang manatiling neutral at hindi maganda yung basta na lang manalo ang iniisip. Ang kulit.

Should he listen to himself? And why doesn't he tell his group that? Kayong senator judges lang naman ang one-sided,

***************

Sabi daw ng Al Jazeera, CNN at BBC: "This is the golden intellectual standard of a Philippine senator who received 26,612,434 votes. Apparently, those 26 million are the wisest among the Filipino people. Sarcastic to the max?

***************

"His brain is undergoing major changes. The right side is always RIGHT (we know that) ... at ang left side has LEFT him for good."

*****************
The wise man speaks because "he has something to say." And the fool because he has to say something.

Simply put ... the wise person speaks with clear intention to add value ... while the foolish person speaks out of a compulsive need to fill the silence or be heard.

Are Senators Allowed to Vote From The Payatas Cathedral?

In the expansive landscape of political jurisprudence, consistency is often considered a virtue.

But under the divine, highly adaptable teachings of Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, true righteousness lies in the ability to rebrand a non-bailable plunder charge as a holy trial of faith.

THE DEFINITION OF "POLITICAL PRISONER" │ │ (Cayetano Lexicon) A.
CASE A: Leila de Lima (2017)
-Charges: Drug-related conspiracy
-Evidence: Criminal, not political
-Voting Rights: Strictly 0%
Diagnosis: "Dapat kulong!"
B.
CASE B: Jinggoy & Marcoleta (2026)
-Charges: Multi-million plunder • Evidence:
-Evidence: Pure "Political Persecution!"
-Voting Rights: 100% (By mail or Zoom!)
-Diagnosis: "Mga Santo ng Minority!"

Few politicians can quote holy scriptures while simultaneously performing acrobatics over the Rules of Court quite like Brother Alan.

When former Senator Leila de Lima was incarcerated in 2017, Cayetano’s legal theology was razor-sharp: This is not political, brothers and sisters! This is a simple matter of criminal charges. The law is the law, and the courts must take their course.

For six long years, De Lima was denied her right to participate in legislative hearings, blocked from casting a single vote, and barred from remote participation. To the legal purists back then, detention meant absolute isolation from Senate duties.

Fast forward to July 2026, and a brand-new revelation has descended upon the Senate floor.

Upon seeing his esteemed political allies—Senators Rodante Marcoleta and Jinggoy Estrada—detained over non-bailable plunder charges, Brother Alan wiped away a tear, turned on his Facebook Live stream, and declared a miracle: They are not plunder suspects—they are Political Prisoners!

"Kinulong sila dahil hindi sa kaso ... kundi sa konsensya nila!"

— Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, redefining a ₱500-million flood control kickback case into an act of tender moral conscience.

Human rights groups and actual former political prisoners expressed bewilderment at this sudden canonization. But they simply fail to grasp the divine logic of the Cayetano Shift:
A.
Feature - Senator Leila de Lima (2017)
Nature of Detention - "Strictly a criminal matter!"
Status - Criminal, Accused
Remote Voting Rights - "A detention cell is not a Senate hall!
Moral Baseline - Zero tolerance for accused politicians

B. Feature - Senators Jinggoy & Marcoleta (2026)
Nature of Detention - "Weaponized DOJ and Ombudsman!"
Status - Holy Martyrs of the Minority
Remote Voting Right-Let them vote in the Impeachment Trial
Moral Baseline - Kneel, pray, and petition the Supreme Court!

Under this theological framework, if a political opponent is detained, the justice system is functioning with blind, unyielding precision.

But if an ally facing plunder charges gets handcuffed, the entire Department of Justice has been infiltrated by the forces of darkness.

The pinnacle of this political theater is the proposal to allow jailed senators to cast their votes in Vice President Sara Duterte's impeachment trial.

When De Lima requested to perform her basic constitutional duties from behind bars, the system declared it an impossible logistical nightmare.

But when Marcoleta and Jinggoy need to save a political patron, suddenly the Senate discovers the magical precedent of the 2000 'Erap' trial, complete with proposals for special courier services or cell block Wi-Fi to ensure their votes are counted.

In the end, Brother Alan leaves us with a profound moral lesson: Righteousness is completely objective—provided you get to redefine it every time your allies get arrested.
