Homemade Quotes

“A rainy day” has been used as a metaphor for hard times or times of misfortune. Prudent people have been quoted to be saving for rainy days by putting money away in anticipation of such times.

If you don't have savings, paying for these kinds of unexpected expenses may be difficult to manage. Having money set aside for a rainy day (an unexpected expense) can help you avoid borrowing money.

A rainy day fund is savings that are generally also for expected, occasional expenses — events and things that you don't necessarily account for in your monthly budget but that are expected to happen over time. This list can include occasional expenses such as minor car repairs, routine medical expenses, and home maintenance.

People who are one-day millionaires and men who splurge money like there is no tomorrow abhor the "saving for a rainy day mentality". They want to enjoy their financial freedom and the joys money can give.

Saving for a rainy day is not what you earned this payday. It is the money you placed in your piggy bank and the vow not to touch the hard-earned money until it is necessary.

Bago Ang Tagumpay ... Magpapawis Ka Muna

Hard work is a prerequisite for success. And there is no shortcut by the way ... not unless you are the son of a billionaire ... or the son of the owner of SM Shoemart ... or you are the son of a drug lord who will shower you with dirty money all your life.  Walang elevator or escalator na daan papunta doon ... and I tell you hindi pa-bandying bandying ang magpapawis sa flight of stairs hanggang marating mo ang rooftop.
You could not go anywhere without working hard. The trouble is that HARD WORK is .... HARD. And this stops a lot of us from doing it.  Because we are not willing to put in the hours requires because it is difficult.  We are not willing to work hard because there is not full proof guarantee that you will end up making it to the top.
"Work hard and you'll succeed" has been the simple formula passed from generation to generation. The advice fits snugly with those who romanticize working 'to the bone' and wear their sacrifices as medals.
Succeeding at work without breaking a sweat isn't impossible, but there are a few hurdles to overcome before you get to the “work smarter, not harder” point. I know people who achieved success without appearing to work hard. They are in a tiny minority. But I will also tell you hard work is no guarantee of success.
Ang advice ko lang, sigi ituloy mo yang hard work route kahit walang guarantee that it will give you to taste its dividends.  Who knows baka isa ka doon sa tiny majority na sinasabi ko. Nobody knows. But one thing is sure ... I am one of the chosen few ... just to give you some inspiration and encouragement.

Lest We Forget

The road to success is limitless. We thought all the while the construction of our lives have been completed but there are windows and doors that were newly open for us. It is just up to us to explore, experiment, and examine.

If you play the cards right the road gets elongated and expands to newer limits making your road to success under construction.

Why does the road seem too long and tedious? Longer roads make the person sympathetic and warm-hearted, more responsible, and more attentive to their objective. They start looking at the world from a different perspective and POV (point of view) that separates them from others. They start looking at themselves, their frailty and fragility, and in the end they try to correct them which is a step in the right direction.

Life Is Full of Pot-holes

I think life is like a road trip ... it has bumps, cracks, and obstacles and you will never know what lies ahead ... you will never know your destination until you get there.
Nobody said life would be easy ... and the road is littered with rose petals ... much so when you are chasing the elusive success that has been evasive, deceptive, and slippery. You will never know if the journey will be pot-holed if there's heavy traffic, or if there is smooth sailing onwards.

The road to success is paved with failures. That's a hard truth, but one that needs to be faced when considering how you are going to make a go of it in life.

But one thing is sure ... just because the trip is long and tedious, is no reason for you to slow down. There is no reason to get discouraged just because there is much work to be done. It is a reason to get started, grow, find new ways, reach within yourself, and discover strength, commitment, determination, and discipline.

The road to success is through commitment and the strength to drive through that commitment when it gets hard. And it is going to get hard, and you're going to want to quit sometimes, but it'll be colored by who you are and more by who you want to be.
