Met an old friend at LRT. Ang damit branded ... OXYGEN ang tatak ... pero the armpit I suspect (if you can see ... I am bitter) is belching the colorless, odorless, tasteless but toxic CARBON MONOXIDE!

Sorry ... I was turned off by the experience.  I should have met the guy under pleasant circumstances. Mataas pa naman ang respeto ko sa kanya ... at inilagay ko pa siya sa pedestal.

In showbiz lingo ... gumuho itong parang kastilyong buhangin!

Department Stores Etiquette

Overheard sa isang department store: "Mam ... ito ang the best para sa mga acne and pimples."

"Sir -i-try ninyo ang shampoong ito for your dandruff."

"Ale ... ito ang state-of-the-art na sabon para sa mga gustong pumuti."

Naririnig ninyo ba ang mga sarili ninyo? Kailangan bang ipamukha sa amin ang aming mga kakulangan at kapintasan? It is high time these department stores need to develop a script - lines that will encourage the customers to listen instead of driving them out of the store ... dahil lang sa pagiging taklesa ninyo.

The fundamental rule is to think about the customer and put yourself in his shoes. How would you want to be treated? is the basic question.

Isang Kahig ... Isang Tuka

Yong iba retired na at uugod-ugod pa ay bumabangon pa rin sa umaga at rumaraket pa rin.

Meron pang iba na stable na ang trabaho, pero nakuha pang mag-sideline to boost his savings.

At may mga kaibigan ako sa Amerika na may millions na sa banko ... pero buo pa rin ang loob na magdouble job ... even triple job at halos wala nang day-off.

Tapos ikaw na wala ngang savings na matawag ... ay tamad na at sobrang ma-PRIDE pa!

Kontento ka na lang ba sa buhay na isang kahig isang tuka? What will it take you para mapalitan ang ganitong mindset?

Debt is ... debt.  What is borrowed ... is borrowed.  What is loaned ... is loaned.  And what is given ... is given.

If you owe something ... you need to pay them back.  If you borrowed something ... it needs to be returned.  Loans require repayment.

And don't ever misconstrue this.  ANG UTANG AY HINDI BIGAY. Kaya dapat lang bayaran.
