 Not everybody has a chance to brush elbows with the stars in the entertainment, modeling, and pageant industries so when the invitation starts knocking at my door ... who am I to refuse. Others may frown at it ... but it is irresistible. Well-meaning friends have given us the opportunity on a silver platter (it is like allowing us to get something easily ... without having to work on it) so when I saw the window ... in basketball lingo - an opening ... all I did was to dribble the ball ... do the lay-up and shoot it for the much-needed money shot.

In soap operas, you will see roles that are flash in the pan ... you will see them now and the next time you realize they're gone. And some actors by virtue of being good at what they do ... create indelible characters that convince the audience and fellow actors ... that this man needs to stay.

This happened to McCoy de Leon in Batang Quiapo. The fact of the matter is ... his character is good only for a brief period of time ... but because he was good at being bad ... his character evolved and look what happened he stayed with BQ for 2 years already ... and it looked like his end has not come yet ... because just like Tanggol ... he has nine lives too.

McCoy in real life is the exact opposite of his screen persona. He has a ready smile ... he has a firm handshake you could almost feel the man is real and sincere.

Toni is a rare avis and I tell you she is the most misunderstood in showbiz. Whatever she does is her own business. And whatever mood she is in ... let's give her some elbow room ... to be herself.

 Amir Carlos Agassi is from Alaminos Pangasinan, Philippines), popularly known as Carlos Agassi and simply Amir, is a Filipino actor, host, and model. He was launched as a member of ABS CBN homegrown talent and is also a part of the male group the Hunks which includes Piolo, Diether, Jericho, and Bernard.

Carlos has the habit of placing his hands on your shoulder when pictures are taken (as if it is a standard operating procedure) and this trait endears him more to his supporters and friends.

Watching Male pageants is all glitz and glamour and it is well spent with Ramp Model Tom. They always are some kind of an added attraction bonus aside from the show itself. Doing the ramp can be exciting ... as you walk down the runway to introduce a fashion designer's new clothing line.
