The team that brought us the action-packed thriller Iron Heart is back. ABS CBN, Richard Gutierrez, director Lester Pimentel Ong, and action director Ace Wang Yang Bin) have collaborated and joined forces in the initial teaser of Incognito last night ... the PREMISE really made a PROMISE ... that this is something big ... and will really be worth your while in your primetime list of priorities. It was an excellent visual tool and vehicle ... that created anticipation, generated interest, spread awareness, and hype up the new product or offering.
For TV viewers lusting for gore and adrenalin-paced action, January 20, 2025, marks the day when the action genre holds supreme in the finicky taste buds of every hard-to-please Pinoy action fan.
Incognito to the uninformed ... means unidentified, in disguise, unrecognized, an undercover whose main characters are working secretly, anonymously, and covertly with all their identities concealed.
But with an eye-popping opening salvo last night, Incognito should not be hidden or masked ... any action fan worth their salt should spread the word out that here's another ABS CBN jewel waiting and wanting for our daily patronage in tradition of Pamilya Sagrado, Linlang, Iron Heart, High Street, and Dirty Linen
It was also a casting coup and a Dream Team. I have never seen an assemblage of major and minor stars put together to create an action-packed gem nobody can ignore.
The Main Cast include Richard Gutierrez, Baron Geisler, Maris Racal, Anthony Jennings, Kaila Estrada, Ian Veneracion and Daniel Padilla.
I was also surprised to see the supporting cast headed by comebacker Elijah Canlas, Jane de Leon, Paolo Gumabao, Eddie Gutierrez, Bembol Roco, Jestoni Alarcon, Agot Isidro,, Malou de Guzman, Raymond Bagatsing, Art Acuna, Cris Villanueva, Ryan Eigenmann, Antonio Aquitania, Polo Ravales, Dino Imperial, Eric Tai, and Jett Pangan.
Aljur Abrenica did a sterling action performance, although I would rather have him continue his role based on his action ability and agility. It was a shame he died on the first night of the show .... umiinit pa lang .... natsugi na? And did I see Victor Basa also? Belle Mariano adds gravitas to the already heavyweight cast.
