Oh How They've Grown Up

The Star Magic Prom held last Thursday, March 20, 2023, was apocalyptic, to say the least. There were lots of surprises, and one of them was the grand comeback of homegrown child actors whom we didn't expect to have grown up now.  Oh, how time flies.

Only yesterday, we saw Xiriel Manabat as Anna Manalastas in 100 Days to Heaven and Momay. It was mind-boggling especially when she showed na may dalang 2 pakwan.  When did we see Raiko Mateo last? In his cutesy-patotsy role in Honesto complete with bonnet.  And Jana Agoncillo in Ningning?  What was revealing how Raiko and Jana answered their ambush interview and how fine their communication skills had become.  Both seemed very comfortable using English as their medium.

Other child stars who made a comeback were Mutia Orquiola, Harvey Bautista, Lance Lucido, JB Agustin, and Louise Abuel. But the three really stole the thunder right from their very noses.
