But this video was made by someone other than us and it promises a POV from another angle - a promising look at the same scenario ... with a different slant and stance. I promise this will be some of the last videos on this topic ... (it is just that its merits are overwhelming and can't be ignored) before we decide to MOVE ON.

I agree with the four other reasons but one of the reasons you mentioned "Giving Chance To Others" is ridiculous. Venezuela and the USA have more than enough titles to their names but that didn't stop R'Bonney from winning last year. They won through their merits, and because of hard work and a lot of preparation. It is a lot of injustice if you are deserving and they will not give the crown to you just because the powers that be want to give a chance to another country that has not won.

For once I never questioned Nicaragua ... I know she deserved the title. But let us not suffocate other countries' dreams of making it big and giving them the chance to realize those dreams. It is high time Miss Universe adopted its own advocacy... and that is to strain the judges who have an axe to grind and have biases toward certain candidates.

The owner wants to silence all naysayers. They created the mistake and blamed Filipinos for reacting in a negative light. Their lips are sealed and it looks like they don't have plans of dousing water to the fiasco that is already ablaze and in flames.

Instead of putting closure to the controversy, they fanned its embers by being silent and not transparent. Why will the owner get angry if Filipinos continue speculating? That's what you get when you are not honest enough to admit there was a mistake. You can't straighten a booboo by creating another booboo.

Look at Steve Harvey ... at the first sign that he noticed something was wrong ... he was man enough to remedy it right away ... not sweeping it under the rug. Steve gets a little bit of blame ... but he has a conscience not to cover it up. And you see the result ... Steve gets the admiration and the respect from us and from people around the world. Everybody makes a mistake ... that's human nature. A simple apology is all we need and a statement and a little explanation to end this storm once and for all. Regarding the grabbing incident ... the talk of women's empowerment in the pageant is losing its grip and its essence under Anne's leadership. Talk is cheap ... and what we saw in the clip ... is a wake-up call. It is time to sound the alarm signals
