The controversy where a waiter was made to stand for two hours has reached fever-pitched and the way I look at it nobody wins in the verbal fisticuff ... not JB, not the waiter, not the netizens who joined the free-for-all brawl.
When you don't know enough about the problem ... other people are experts and they can't resist the invitation to participate. If your opinion has no bearing on others ... it would be best to remain SILENT ... simply because it is the wisest thing to do.
If there is a risk that your words might unnecessarily hurt someone .... choosing silence can be an act of kindness and maturity.
The waiter controversy lured us to become what we become. We let our emotions dictate us to believe that our actions are the best option available under the circumstances. When we could have chosen to be silent.
The waiter controversy taught us to CHILL ... calm down and relax because we are getting emotional.
