Netizen's Comment: In one of your entries meant to celebrate Father's Day you said: "The second Father I want to thank is my parish priest - my Father confessor, my Father rector, my second Father.  He was everything like my father - advisor, friend, attorney, mentor, coach, teacher, and counselor all rolled into one. He also was the one who recruited me to be his sacristan."

Referring to the 2nd "father" category, shout out to them all, may their tribe increase!   But sorry to disappoint a few rotten tomatoes abound in the basket and woe to this kind.  No sugar coating there but woe to the exploitative kindred ... I hate to point out the obvious.  From a personal perspective, some things are better left unsaid!

Response: I can read between the lines ... despite your hesitancy to point out the obvious. Your reluctance to spill the beans even made your vague statement even clearer, your palette painted a spectrum of pregnant images on the canvas.

Despite your encounter with the few rotten tomatoes,  there are still people in the clergy who I can say, "you're safe with them".  But the gossip and the whispers are just too loud now ... even the church hierarchy could not contain it.

The once small bushfires are now a big forest blaze and it is spreading like wildfire the Church and the laity should do something about it.

Short Circuit

I attended once a group of young men trying to search in if they have vocations to serve the Lord by becoming a priest.

What is vocation in Tagalog? ... bokasyon.  Hmmm yong pinto ... bukas yon ... yong bintana bukas yon. Maging bukas po tayo. Who knows God will call you bukas ... and you might say YES.  Bukas yon!

As they say, if God is CALLING you ... HARDEN not your heart!

Casting Coup

For Darryl Yap every bash ... is cash. He doesn't mind if somebody concocted a perfect recipe for a blockbuster film ... a far cry from the original cast he had in mind. Positive or negative comments are welcome.

Whoever assembled the above actors is a genius, he has good taste ... it is regarded as the most significant casting coup in recent times. The choice is larger than life ... the characters were tailored-made (custom made, made-to-order) for them.
