The successful directorial tandem of Onat Diaz and Lino Cayetano is back in High Street ... a sequel to the beautifully acted suspense thriller - Senior High. The teleserye opened with a reunion five years later of Northford High senior students led by Andrea Brillantes ... as their roles transitioned from teenage problems to adult issues.
Here's the breakdown of their roles.
1. Sky - (Andrea) a budding journalist
2. Gino - (Juan Carlos) a lawyer wannabe
3. Tim - (Zaijan ) - military man
4. Poch - (Miggy)
5. Roxy - (Xyriel) - a single mom and a nurse
6. Elijah - (Elijah) - imprisoned in another country
7. Z -(Danuella) - still struggle with mental health issues
We have seen the first footage and from the looks of it ... the qualities of Senior High - first-rate superior acting - fast-paced editing, good direction, and story - are still ingrained in High Street. I can't wait to see who outsmarts who in the acting department as their lives will be in peril once more... as if the first edition was not enough.
If they thought the Northford nightmare and horror ended three months ago, their ordeal and misery would be far greater than they ever imagined.
The stellar cast of supporting actors includes Dimples Romana, Romick Sarmienta, Tommy Alejandrino, Gela Atayde. Mon Confiado, Kean Cipriano, Ana Abad Santos ... and new exciting younger additions like Harvey Bautista, AC Bonifacio Ralph de Leon, and kiddie wonder Argus Aspiras.
