The Making of 1621 BC

Introducing the newest PPOP boy group 1621 BC.  After the tremendous success of  MLD Entertainment and ABS CBN's Dream Maker (the making of a new boyband) Horizon came out from nowhere and now is making waves in Korea and the Philippines with their hit singles Sixteen, Birthday, How You Feel, Dash, Lovey Dovey, Death or Paradise, Take My Hand, Hit Me, Odd Eye, Tiger, Mama, Salamat - and the list goes on ... and on.

And because there was no dearth and scarcity of talent in the Dream Maker alumni ... MLD Entertainment did not dilly dally ... so another KPOP/PPOP group was formed and that includes Thad, Wilson, Macky, Jom and Joshua and this time around it is New ID and their debut single ER is nothing to sneeze at.

ABS CBN on his part did not waste their time and the third PPOP boygroup was born and was christened 1621 BC. This include JM Ronquillo, Jay Dean Villaber, Kerwin Buenafe, Luis Miguel Aguiviva, JC Ledesma and Francis Panpan Rosas.

Why 1621 BC? According to one of the members, sixteen twenty-one is an angel number. This spiritual number has a few different meanings in numerology. In general, it is associated with stability, order, and structure. This number is telling you to get rid of any negative thoughts because your hard work is about to pay off.

And BC? BC for Jay Dean is Beautifully Charming - balancing youthfulness and charm, to Luis it is an acronym for Belief and Confidence to themselves,  to JM- it is Boldly Captivating representing a fusion of sexiness and humility, to Kerwin, it meant Blessed Circle referring to the support of their fans, to JC it is Boundless Courage - meaning that the group are not afraid of the challenges that will come their way and Panpan it means Beyond Complete because they always aim for perfection.

The group's musical genre is an amalgam of pop and R and B and traditional Pinoy music. They are under co-management of MMG and PPL Entertainment.
