Response: Indeed cable cars or San Francisco cable trams will never ease traffic woes. The mere fact that cable trams are slow ... its speed will become turtle-paced when operating in Metro Manila. And its presence maybe even make traffic problems balloon like a monster.

The only consolation it can give us is that it gives us an option that if riding a bus or jeepney fails there is an available alternative waiting. If cable cars are really to be made in Metro Manila ... they can make use of areas of land above rivers, lakes, or seas starting from Valenzuela and going to Malabon - Navotas - Manila - Pasay - Paranaque - Las Pinas - Muntinlupa - Taguig- Pasig- Marikina - Quezon City - Caloocan - back to Valenzuela.

The role of the thumb is to never use major streets as the way. LRT and MRT have already charred and scalded us and we should take them as important reminders of our indiscretions.
