Giselle Sanchez Dilemma

In her article in Manila Bulletin, Giselle Sanchez explained why she accepted the role of Corazon Aquino in the movie Maid In Malacanang. She explained that she had prepared for the role.

In one scene, the character of Cory Aquino was shown saying, : Get them out of the Philippines obviously referring to the Marcoses. After that, she played mahjong together with the nuns.

As reported Giselle texted Sen Imee Marcos to ask her where this scene originated, and the senator said, the story came from the Americans.

According to history, President Cory went to Carmelite Monastery in Cebu last February 1986 to pray. There was no mention that she played mahjong with the nuns.

    Pera2 lang talaga , alam pihado ni G. Sanchez na walang katotohanan ang ipinagawa sa kanya ng walang modong director ng " made in malacanang "pero ginawa pa rin ni sanchez it means nakuha sya sa talent fee, kahit nambalahura sya ng pagkatao bg naging pangulo ng bansa at mga madre na ginawa nilang mga sugalera !     Aside from the bashers, I also wish Ms. Sanchez, that you were also prepared to face your conscience for the actions in script you were ask to portray.
