Given the principle of political evangelization, the Office of Research, College of Arts, Sciences, and Education, Center for Campus Ministry of the University of Santo Tomas-Legazpi, and the Social Action Center of Legazpi conducted a research on the concept of an ideal president based on the 16 Good Citizenship Values released by the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV).
Based on the 16 Good Citizenship Values released by the PPCRV in their voters’ education program, research teams composed of faculty members and students appropriated these values anchored on objective pieces of evidence to arrive at the following ratings:
1. The check mark
signifies that the given value is demonstrated by the candidate substantiated with adequate evidence and there is no adequate evidence contrary to the given value.
2. The cross mark ✘ signifies that the given value is not demonstrated by the candidate substantiated with adequate evidence.
3. The blank space signifies that there is no adequate evidence to demonstrate the given value, positively or negatively.
Supplementary information including justification for the rating may be accessed by scanning the QR code provided.
The core research team is composed of the following faculty members:
1. Prof. Alvin A. Sario, Ph.D.
2. Asst. Prof. Jet G. Guerrero, R.Ch., M.Sc.
3. Asst. Prof. Mark John Palanca, MAPM
