The word for today is USER-FRIENDLY - a machine or a system that is easy for people who are not experts to use. It is easy to learn and understand and deal with. Synonyms of user-friendly are simple, basic, handy, manageable, and easily operated. Example: "The latest Samsung Galaxy S23 user-friendly features allow seniors to use it with ease."

However, there's another meaning for user-friendly nowadays.  It meant that someone be-FRIEND somebody so he can USE him. Or to put it bluntly: "mabait ka lang sa tao dahil may kailangan ka."

Beware of these people ... you can see them in your home, in school or at work.

True Friends - they call you because they just want to get in touch with you.  They miss you badly and they can't help but dial the phone to see how are you ... and hear what's the latest with you.

Fake Friends - they call you because they need something from you ... plain and simple. They don't miss you ... and they don't care about you.  All they need is your help ... if it is not ASAP ... it should be PRONTO!

Response: I tried to check the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual on Mental Disorders (DSM -5) and stated drinking coffee and caffeine use ... as a condition ... is still for further study.

But I believe the time will come when what you are asking might come true. For one caffeine affects personality and has some cognitive perks that include boosting alertness, energy, and feelings of well-being. Overuse of the substance has some side effects like troubled sleep, jitters, and irritability. Caffeine can cause sleep problems ... and lack of sleep affects mood.

Caffeine is a stimulant and it stimulates some chemicals in your brain causing dependence and speeding everything up ... ergo increasing and worsening anxiety.

There is such a thing as caffeine dependence - a condition of having dependence on caffeine - a CNS stimulant that is common in coffee, tea, cocoa, and yerba.

It is just a matter of time before experts might change their minds.  For one excessive caffeine consumption (1~1.5 g/day) can cause caffeine poisoning (caffeinism), which includes symptoms such as anxiety, agitation, and insomnia.

This is too much ... not that I am complaining ... but this title frenzy is getting ridiculous to some. The way things are going ... it is becoming like a habit, the Philippines getting 4 crowns in  one day is a feat no country has ever done before.

First, it was Joshua Azares  winning Mr. World Universe International 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam last May 26, 2023. Hannah Grace Navales completed a double victory outcry when she bagged Miss World Universe International 2023.

Then the crown streak started flowing when Richard Rey Gomez duplicated Joshua's victory when he won Mr. Altitude International 2023 in Bangkok Thailand last May 27, 2023. And not to be outdone is Marvin Salcedo who also pocketed the WFS World Fitness Supermodel 2023 also in Bangkok.

I know the naysayers will once again let the narrative "It is only a minor pageant ... what's a big deal?"  We know it too ... but a record is a record and nobody can fault the Philippines for coming in too strong. 

Other posters before blaming the Philippines for being so omnipresent in all pageants ... as they chorused "The more you join ... chances are you will win.  Is that so? I have seen countries joining pageants left and right but their win is so few and far between.

They even come to the point of singling the one mistake Pageant Crown Ranking has made ... as one capital sin (but their motive is obvious and that is to impune the image of PCR) They made a mistake once alright, when they included a non-participating nation as participating ... ergo their pageantry reports are not reliable? They made that mistake ... but not a mistake in the winners and their finalists.

I can always vouch for the authenticity of their reports. Mistakes can happen (who doesn't) but Pageant Crown Ranking makes it a point to accompany their reports with photos of winners in all their crowning glory. Anybody who can dispute that the Philippines' victory is made up ... is deluding themselves. PCR has all their receipts kept to back their reports.

And what is the issue with minor pageants? The fact of the matter is: "If you can't win minor pageants ... how much more for major pageants? And TRUTH be said: the Philippines has won almost all the titles in town ... be it major or minor ... and that's a fact.

News Flash: after one day another twin victory rained like manna in heaven ... Marjorie Aniban was crowned Miss World Universe Teen Int'l 2023 and Shadelle Saguisag was given Miss World Universe Pre-Teen International 2023.

And here's the latest Robert Douglas C. Walcher (son of Patricia Javier brought home the Mr. Teen International 2023. As they say when it rains... it pours!
