ABS CBN reported through Diane Castillejo that Michelle Dee won the Best In National Costume Award. Was this another manipulation done by Master Chef to cheer up the very passionate Filipinos to "forgive and forget" and bury the hatchet and accept apologies from the erring organization? Was this one of MUO's ways of scheming again ... encouraging the Filipinos to "move on"?
Currently, it looks like Miss Universe 2023 will be given the moniker and the sobriquet: The Soap Opera of the Year by virtue of its calculated twists and turns. This very engaging script with a very convoluted, intricate, and elaborate storyline ... will jolt you out of your senses ... making the impossible ... POSSIBLE?
There is just one thing the scriptwriter forgets and underestimates: the gaping wound created in the psyche of everyone ... making them want more blood. If they thought Filipinos could be manipulated and silenced by giving MMD another award ... this fuel them more to make incessant noise barrage.
Questions lead to more questions ... and more confusion? In the first place ... why was this posthumous award given after one's pageant's death (the exclusion of MMD) ... and why not during the pageant?
This has never been done before ...and so far whoever thought of this idea is giving a disservice to MUO ... it is giving the whole plane ride ... TURBULENCE with a capital T.
Was it a pampalubag loob award ... or was it panakip butas award?
