Viewpoint and Mindset - Yan ba ang gago ... yan ba ang dapat tsenilasin? Gago lang ang magsabi na gago siya ... basing on how knowledgeable he is. They just want to silence their critics ... plain and simple. And whoever said that should be ashamed of himself.
The state of social media is so reprehensible now, anybody can just throw odious and unsavory language at a respectable historian/professor who has a lily-white background and above-board credentials. I challenge whoever said gago or tsinelasin niya si Ambet, just try and show up for a debate with him and we will see who is gago and who deserves the tsinelas slap!-Marides Ramirez - Yes to Social media literacy and No to disinformation. I applaud you Sir Christian and Professor Ambeth Ocampo for clarifying and straightening out distorted facts point for point. Please do not get tired of correcting all the falsehoods that is being peddled around.
-Marisol Fumar - It’s really so sad that the Philippines has gone this low. The trolls and the lies and the disinformation. Please keep on doing this show. I know it’s hard, it’s difficult to fight this evil that has penetrated our culture. We are still a lot of us who believe in the TRUTH and what is the TRUTH. Praying for the Philippines.
-Mercy Claraval - Sir Ambeth Ocampo is truly a credible Filipino historian, he has deep knowledge of Philippine political and social developments across different eras ( pre, during and post-martial law, pre and post-EDSA, and more), I also repeatedly watched one video of his on the diaries of Marcos which evoked in my recollections of those eras because I also had some similar personal experiences. Sir Ambeth is really a 'national treasure', I pray for his long life so he could continue to be an instrument to counter historical revisionism, thus perpetuating the truth. I hope Sir Ambeth can produce more books on contemporary Philippine history, and for DepEd to use in classrooms if it really wants to promote truth for the love of the country.
