Hibiscus Schizopetalus is a species of Hibiscus native to tropical Eastern Kenya, Tanzania, and Mozambique Its common names include fringed rosemallow, Japanese lantern, coral Hibiscus, and spider hibiscus.  The red or pink-flowers are very distinctive in their frilly, finely divided petals.
