Just My Two Cents Worth

Charter change na naman? Paulit-ulit na lang? Wala na bang iba? When Gloria Arroyo is around ... charter change is not far behind. Ginawa niya ito noong president siya ... hindi lang natuloy.

All I can say is  ... "Do not fix what is not broken,"  Gusto ba ninyong amendahan ang constitution ... to fit your political needs ... or meron lang kayong hidden agenda? Yon lang yon.  Ang daming problema ngayon ang Pinas. Hindi ba niya narinig ang tensyong namumuo sa West Philippine Sea? Or kahit na lang ang soaring onion prices or ang nationwide strike ng mga drivers? Gloria hindi ka namin nararamdaman sa mga isyung ito.

For once in your life magpakita ka naman ng kahit konting pagtingin sa mga Pilipino .... huwag lang puro sarili o nang mga kaalyado ninyo.. Sa dami ng problema binuksan pa talaga niya ang natutulog na isyu sa Charter Change.

Know Your Monsters

Wise people know they can benefit from constructive criticism. If no one is there to remind us ... we can be drenched and soaked in our mistakes ... just floating and drifting aimlessly in the vacuum...  and not learn anything from them. 

Review and study yourself and discover the BEAST in you. Be HUMBLE to accept them ... and be HONEST to negate them when they strike.

Seeing Ourselves In The Mirror

It is paradoxical ....  unless you face your monsters head-on ... they will continue living inside you for the rest of your life. Creating COMFORTING LIES to avoid PAINFUL TRUTHS is a defense mechanism ... an unconscious process that helps the person having internal conflicts. Continued use or overuse of this coping strategies however is unhealthy and can throw you off balance when reality strikes. 

We usually create our own monsters and run away from them ... lest they will give us a good picture of ourselves in the mirror.  

Monster Under Your Bed

How many times have you woken up in the middle of the night and sensed a ghostly intruder in your room? Don't panic ... it might just be probably the monster of your making.

The monsters you created don't reside under your bed. Or in your cabinet. They reside inside your head.

You Are a PAWN ... Not A King

 

You know what?  It is not the face that you see in the mirror ... that makes you the monster.

It is the choices that you made ... and your decision to continue living the same way ... despite being reminded.
