Looking at the image ... anybody can arrive at a myriad of interpretations ... one can put meaning to it ... and that depends mostly on one's personal experience ... family or otherwise.

To further evaluate my theory ... I asked friends to comment on WHAT THEY FEEL about the picture, and this is what they said.

1. The puppy is uninvited. He squeezes himself into the family out of nowhere, expecting the same rights and treatment.

2. The puppy is saling-pusa. Too pushy for comfort.

3. Strangers can come anytime in our lives, in the most unexpected times and places. And then competes for our parents' attention.

4. The puppy is an apple in a bowl of oranges. Too different to be considered a part of the family.

5. Have you ever thought that the puppy could be a potential black sheep in the family

6. Kung sino pa ang nakikitira lang ... siya pa ang maldita.

7. Ang puppy can be a home-wrecker. I can see him putting a wedge in every relationship.

8. Kung hindi dumating ang saling-aso na yan ... hindi magkaleche-leche ang buhay namin.

9. The piglets are welcoming. They will soon bond and blend together.

10. The mother pig accepts the puppy as an addition to their family

I can see some hugot lines sa mga responses. May nababasa akong munting mga drama sa buhay nila. Ang aso was just an instrument ... a mirror, and it shows a varied emotional reflection of feelings bordering on hate and disgust.

Imagine ... isang cute na puppy (and lovable at that) ... mirrors some deep dark secrets, resentments and negative feelings sa buhay ng mga kaibigan ko?

Parang "projective psychological drawing test" lang ito na isang requirement if you apply for work. You were required to draw on a piece of paper something about your house and your family. After that, the psychologist analyzes the drawing details to infer aspects of the applicant's personality.

The psychologist can also extract subconscious emotions from the subject. For instance, a large house might suggest satisfaction with home life, while a house drawn very small could indicate unhappiness with family.

Except for numbers 9 and 10 ... lumabas ang mga kinikimkim at nakatagong damdamin - probably REPRESSED or SUPPRESSED because the thought of them .... overwhelms the person.

Hindi man natin kagustohan na mageaves drop sa kanilang mga personal na buhay pero ... lumabas ang tunay na State Of Their Lives Realities - (parang SONA ni BBM ah). Hindi dahil pinapakita ng tao ang kanyang happy facade ... eh maligaya at contented na siya sa buhay.

They are the classic example of people who are laughing on the outside ... but crying on the inside.

Ang akala natin ay eveything is okay in the Western front ... yon pala maraming red flags at alarm signals pala na dapat tutukan at bantayan.

Usad-pagong, Wala pang balita kung may makukulong sa mga AKUSADO at ABUSADO sa mga flood projects scam. 

Sabi nga ni Bob Marley, "you can never get justice in a world where criminals make the rules.

Sa mga hindi nakaintiendi or naguguluhan lang: The phrase means that true justice cannot exist in a society where corrupt or law-breaking individuals hold positions of power and create rules that benefit themselves.

The people hope however that this series of investigations is a step in the right direction ... hindi para amoin lang at suyuin ang galit ng nagtatampong tao. 

To the government, they should make good on this promise, as it is a significant matter to everyone, and any failure will erode their trust in them completely. 

Everyone I spoke to shared almost the same sentiment as Marley.

All they need is to debunk Marley's observations and vow that this will not happen in their watch ... and make a resolve that this will be an exception ... rather than the rule.

Bakit Binabagyo at Nililindol ang Pinas?

Hindi ba ninyo napansin ang sunod-sunod na kalamidad ... halos magkasabay-sabay na ang apat na bagyo na nagta-tagteam at nag-riding in tandem pa sila. Pag-alis ng isa ... darating pa ang isa.  And there's more.

Halos malublub na tayo sa putik ng corruption ... nawasak na ang ating mga bahay at na-anod na ang atin kabuhayan ... sa mga delubyong buong kahayopan naghasik ng pinsala ... and it looked like there is no end in sight.

At sa kung anong dahilan ... hindi pa nakontento ang kalikasan. Kailangan pa niyang dagdagan ng mga reminders ang mga tao "na ang titigas kasi ng mga ulo ninyo. Hindi kayo makuha sa isang tingin lang ... gusto ninyo kunin ko kayo sa santong paspasan!"

Kita ninyo pagkatapos ng isang kalunos-lunos na mga imahen ng destruction when a powerful earthquake rocked Cebu to the tune of 6.9 on the Richter scale ... today, another powerful jolt shook Davao to its core, erasing the previous known reading in any known Philippine charts as it recorded a magnitude  7.4 in its seismograph oscillations.

After that, another temblor was noticed in Ilocos at 4.4, as if that was not enough of an alarm.

Call me naive and simple-minded ... pero hindi ba parang sawang-sawa na ang Makapangyarihang Tao sa langit sa lahat na pinapagawa ng mga tao. "Hindi kayo natototo sa bagyo lang at baha ... kailangan padalhan Ko rin kayo ng malakas na lindol for an added impact at para mabagok na ang ating mga matitigas na ulo toput some sense to it..

Kita mo naman, siguro nakatiim-bagang Siya na nagmamasid sa kalangitan at halos tumaas na ang kanyang kilay habang pinagmasdan ang pakontes sa Senado - pataasan ng ihi ng mga Senador -whoever has the highest  stream wins.

Ang mga nakusahan ay patuloy pa rin sa kanilang pag-deny and they continued to lie as if tuwang-tuwa ang mga tao.  At may mga unscrupulous na mga indibidwal na ginagamit pa ang pangalan ng nasa Itaas (that's sacriligious let alone using the name of God in vain) malusutan lang ang pressure sa kung anumang naguumpugang bato kung saan sila naipit.

Quote ng quote sila ng mga passages sa Bibliya thinking na kung ginagawa nila ito ... baka maibsan ang  masamang pagtingin sa kanila ng mga madlang people. But the more they lie ... the more abominable they become.

Nagresign na si Ping Lacson dahil baka mamaya mabigwasan pa ng dating police officer ang ulyaning at bengatibong mga katunggali sa Blue Ribbon Committee. Iwas pusoy na lang siya dahil sa totoo lang what will he get from sticking up with Tito Sen - kundi mataas na BP, peligis sa mukha at walang katapusang threat at hamon at planting of witnesses ng mga katunggaling desperate na and on the verge na of being outed and singled out.

Kung may mga gurang sa Senado may isa ring batang tahol ng tahol sa House of Representatives. He wants to be the speaker of the House, and he has declared an all-out war with the president and the former speaker.

Today, ang Secretary of DPWH was seen on TV ordering to stop any ongoing repairs sa kalsada in the entire nation. Nakaka-amaze na ngayon lang niya nalaman na may mga kalsada na mukhang maganda pa naman ... pero basta na lang binubungkal para gumawa ulit ng panibago para pagkakitaan. Aba nilulumot na sa panahon ang raket na ito.

Ang battlecry ng public ay hustisya at sana may makulong man lang ang mga mapang-abusong public servants (kuno). And it looked like bago may makulong .... it will takes months or years bago ito maisangkatuparan. O baka makalimutan na lang.

Will there be more typhoons, floods, and earthquakes on the horizon? 

If that is not enough warning to all of us ... tell!

Pageant Result: Miss Asia Pacific International 2025

Naku ito na naman si Alan Peter Cayetano. Akalain mo ba naman na magsuggest siya ng isang snap election para mapalitan na ang mga toso at magnanakaw na mga namumuno sa gobyerno? Akala niya ay tuloy-tuloy na ang kanyang mga pagiging bwenas pagkatapos na makasaysayang REMAND at ARCHIVE?

Pwes three is a big number. Kaya pahiya siya nang pagsabihan siya ni Usec Claire Castro. "Kung gusto mong magpalit ng mga tao sa gobyerno ... umpisahan natin sa sarili mo?"

Sigi nga Alan patunayan mo. Hamon ng taong bayan!

Lawyer's Mumbo Jumbo

 We are not lawyers ... but we need to understand their lexicon (lawyers always have their own lingo only they can understand. Same with doctors, nurses, and engineers) 

We spend our waking hours on YouTube, and we are always exposed to hearings and debates—and also their private conversations. All we do is scratch our heads because they use legal terminologies that sound too foreign and alien to our virgin ears, and our mind wonders what they are talking about.

Let's start decoding and decrypting these words and phrases (it is irreverent for us to enter the sanctum of the in ... but desperate times need desperate measures) so the next time they use these terms again ... we are on the same page with them.  Not in limbo.

We will try to dissect and define them in simpler language so ordinary mortals and laymen (the amateur and the non-experts) can actively participate in the discussion ... and at the same time broaden their legal and paralegal stock knowledge,

So our word or phrase that is hitting the headlines today is: PETITION FOR CERTIORARI

PHRASE: Petition For Certiorari, Writ of Certiorari

MEANING: A petition for certiorari is a legal document filed with a higher court (like the Supreme Court) requesting it to review a decision of a lower court or government agency. It essentially asks the higher court to examine the lower court's proceedings to ensure they were fair and just. 

It is a petition that asks an appellate court to grant a writ of certiorari. This type of petition usually argues that a lower court has incorrectly decided an important question of law, and that the mistake should be fixed to prevent confusion in similar cases.

EXAMPLE: In VP Sara's impeachment, Senate President Chit Escudero was very vocal that the House of Representatives had been sitting on the articles of impeachment for two months and why they forwarded the complaints at the last minute when the Senate was on recess ... (some Senators have already planned for their vacation and half of them are busy knee-deep with campaigning.)

There was also a debate on when the trial starts ... and complications arose because the Constitution stipulated that it should be done FORTHWITH, otherwise known as without delay ... right away ... or immediately. Legal luminaries throwing in their weight said: "Anything other than that ... any delay is a violation of what the Constitution intends to do."

Amid the frenzy... one ex-PCGG lawyer (Catalino Generillo Jr.) petitioned a writ of mandamus so the impeachment trial would start immediately. 

Whose legal minds will prevail ... that remains to be seen!

Alan Peter Cayetano is Senate's Pied Piper

Whatever the minority leader Alan Peter Cayetano wants ... he gets.

Everybody looks up at him like he is the knight in shining armor in the problem-laden Senate.

May proof na tayo diyan. Para kasi siyang TROUBLE-SHOOTER and FIXER sa senado na siya lang palagi ang pinagpala at tanging nakaisip ng solution. Nagmukha tuloy mga palamuti ang kanyang mga ka-senador. The YES bunch.

Remember the word REMAND? Does that ring a bell? Well, that's what he and his cohorts did ... REMAND or return to sender (saan pa... e di sa the House of Representatives) ang articles of impeachment.

His motion introduces unnecessary ambiguity to the already politically charged proceeding ... some even say it is unconstitutional because there is no such thing as remand or return in the Constitution.

But because of his charisma, at kung anong anting-anting meron siya he pulled it off at sunod-sunoran lang ang mga so called "palamuti" sa Senado.

Then, when the Supreme Court made a ruling on Sara's impeachment ... the Senate was again in a quandary what to do with it.
about sa Senado ... siya lang ang bukod-tangi at siya lang ang nakaisip na ang mabuti nilang gawin ay i-ARCHIVE na lang ang impeachment. Natalo nga ang i-TABLE na suggestion naman ni Tito Sotto.

And as expected nagsunodsunoran na naman ang mga miron at saling pusa.

Another miron likened him to a PIED Piper of Hamelin.

He was a mysterious man in colorful clothes who managed to lead the rats (kung sinong rats ... hindi ko alam) out of town by playing music. In another instance, the town refuses to pay the Pied Piper what he was promised. The Pied Piper again plays music and lures the children out of town, never to be seen again.

The phrase "pied piper" has become a metaphor for a person who attracts followers (in Alan's case ... his co-senators) through charisma or animal magnetism. Talaga?

Something is not right. Parang may conflict: Pauwiin for HUMANITARIAN reasons - tapos ang kaso niya ay crimes against HUMANITY? Nagiisip ba sila or are they just voting along party lines?

May bato-balani nga si Alan. Pinatunayan niya ulit that he can pull off a resolution na pauwiin nga si Digong. But the tide has changed: makakalaban niya ngayon ang taong bayan.
