Double Entendre

"Kung ang PAPEL ay DINIDILAAN ko ... ikaw pa kaya?"

"May malaking PAPEL ka sa buhay ko ... basta ... malaking BAHAGI ka (if I don't acknowledge it ... it would be an injustice)".

This is a Double Entendre, meaning the statements have double meanings. It is a word or phrase open to two interpretations ... one is usually risque or indecent.

Is double entendre good or bad?

Irony of Life

Sa bus kahapon may isang taong buong giting ang nagsabi: "PANGIT daw yong habambuhay kang PALAMONIN."

Wala akong intention na makinig sa kanilang pinag-usapan pero hindi ko mapigilan na tingnan ang source ng statement because of his audacity to say what is on his mind ... in public.

On the internet, BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE post their photos to flaunt and emphasize their beauty and sexy bodies. Photos after photos they bore you with an attitude bordering on narcissism.

On the other hand ... the not-so-beautiful PEOPLE post reviews, memes, political views etc. to parade and show off their intelligence and wisdom. Article after article they annoy you with their outlook leaning on self-conceit and self-love 

Ano ang pinagkaiba? Wala. Pareho lang silang self confident ... other people termed that as "mayabang".
