  Because of politics, politicians are stifling business growth. This is executive and legislative overreach. These lawmakers and regulators can't even create a good business climate that will attract investors. Next year the number of people joining the workforce is a lot higher. Focus on job creation instead of job destruction.

Viewpoint and Mindset Response:

Sometimes. Not always. 

Although it may be true in some cases. But arriving at hasty conclusions and making blanket generalizations is not germane and correct. I am a living proof of this. 

I barely open my mouth because I am not a proponent of any of these talks: small talk, pillow talk, double talk, table talk, big talk, empty talk, and idle talk. Some people talk because they have something to say while others talk because they have to say something.

When I am at work I don't mix it with the above type of talk, because I have to do my job. Talking less doesn't make me an outcast just because everybody around is doing it.  I did not do it to be noticed either, but it was noticed and noted anyway by the powers that be. so promotions were given to me early than I thought they would be. I focused myself on productive tasks, I didn't even realize the big bosses were eagled-eyed, they gave me the "second look" as they spotted potential leaders just waiting to be molded and guided.

But accomplishing things does generally require a fair amount of hard work, which usually means concentrating on the task at hand and not talking or engaging in other distractions while you're doing it. That doesn't mean you shouldn't talk when you're in social situations. Though even in social situations, it's important to listen, think and observe, not just speak mindlessly.

I am one of those people who wisely pick and choose their topics to talk about and ignore most of the idle/small talk. I don't talk just for the sake of talking.
