If Senatorial candidate Atty Luke Espiritu thought the outcome of the Senate vote showed the voter's lack of consciousness meant (loss of consciousness), then it is safe to say the voters badly needed voters' education as they lack the normal awareness of how important this election was ... and the gravity and the repercussions of their decisions were not even clear to them.

He said instead of voting for their interest and the issues that are important to them the voters instead vote like the usual rabid showbiz fans. Actor Robin Padilla top the Senate pick besting political veterans on his first try.

MInor Things That Makes You Smile

Humor can be dissected, as a frog can. True to form, philosophers, scientists, and certain left-brained comedians have been scrutinizing humor’s innards or viscera for a while seeking a serious understanding of what makes things funny.

According to one scholarly definition, people who have been working on a quantum theory of humor, something is humorous if people cognitively appraise it as funny, if it creates a positive emotion of amusement or if it makes somebody smile or makes him burst into laughter.

There are a lot of situations in life that we found it strange. As bizarre or offbeat they may be, or how trivial, irrelevant and minor it sounds to others if it tickles someone pink, there are still others in this whole wide world who appreciate it to the same degree as his. Who cares about others whose left-leaning attitude and their threshold of tolerance to small things and humor are askew and lopsided?

Here are examples of things that may sound superficial and paltry to some ... but makes you wonder ... they have managed to make you smile.

Did you ever stop to wonder why cars are lining up in a traffic jam? I hope they are not lining for a JAM, a jelly, or sweet preserves?

And did you ever wonder why they form a Q (queue) in the roundabout? 

And why are the cars tailing another car - creating a bumper-to-bumper scenario that always makes everybody ends up in a bummer-to-bummer mood?

Or perhaps a funeral car made you pull over and there were long men and women in black in a gloomy mood in a somber parade?
