What is your reply when a friend who has not talked to you for years ... or a family member who ignores you and gives you a cold shoulder... suddenly knocks at your door ... or text you ... and asks for help from you?

There is a silver lining when people remember you ... ONLY when they want to ask a favor ... or help from you.

You should feel SPECIAL instead because even when they treated you like sh_t ... remembering you (when they seem they have forgotten you) meant you are the only one person who could help ... and the last piece of the jigsaw puzzle that will solve their problems. At the time when they are groping in the dark ... they see YOU as the light at the end of the tunnel.
