Don't Brush Aside An Existing Issue

The last we could say about solving family conflicts is our suggestion for open dialogue or better still maintaining an open line of communication. How do you solve a problem like Maria's? Maria needs an unfettered flow of communication.

It is hard to solve a problem if Maria is not talking or she still entertains shutting out a family member in question. Maria should realize that when the coldness grows between them ... having her head in the clouds and brushing aside an issue while it festers will probably only make it worse. Maria should be the first person who reaches out first... pick up the phone or drop a line ... no matter how hard it is.
