Responding To Netizen's Comment

Netizens Comment: Typhoon Agaton showed the real difference between BBM and Leni - as leaders, as would-be presidents, and as a person. The difference? Yung Isa May Mga Totoong volunteers, aside from the obvious leadership. Kaya nakakausad pa rin. Pero young isa, trolls anag naka-under payroll.

Response:

We always hear from leaders that in case of calamities and disaster ... if only they could get more done, but there doesn’t seem to be enough hours in the day. Then they always say: If they only had the tools they needed, they'd be able to do more as expected. Guess what? Those are just excuses.

What we saw this week is that Leni can do more in disaster situations for less. Resourcefulness is the key and we thought all would-be presidents should have that ...that is learning to do more with less.

We all have the same amount of hours in a day. This means that self-made, scrappy Leni you admire has tapped into the power of resourcefulness to give Eastern Visayas the help that they need. The help was not enough of course but that is better than having no help at all. Last week Leni showed us leadership in motion.  She showed us leadership by doing something.  She made her presence felt by making a difference.

It’s time for us to stop making excuses and start making more with less – more money, more opportunities, and more fulfilling life.

Celebrities For Leni

Pia Wurtzbach Made A Stand

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach shared on Wednesday, April 13 that she already cast her vote at the Philippine embassy in the UAE, where she registered as an absentee voter last year.
“Got my girl boss suit on cos I’m feeling empowered today!” she wrote on her social media accounts. “As a first-time voter, I must say that it felt so good to vote today. Emotional actually. May halong excitement & relief that I finally took my stand. Shading that little black dot felt like I was finally making a choice towards our future. I know I’m only 1 person. Only 1 vote out of millions but every vote counts.”

The beauty queen, actress, and entrepreneur added that she encourages all Filipinos abroad to vote which will be available for one month.
” I also learned that only about 30% of ALREADY REGISTERED voters here in UAE are expected to vote. Sayang naman kung ganon. If you’re a Filipino living abroad who’s already registered, please make time for it because your vote counts. You have one whole month to do this so there’s really no excuse not to. Plus, the process in Abu Dhabi was super seamless.”
In one of the rare times she spoke regarding politics, Pia revealed that she voted for Vice President Leni Robredo.
“Today, I am even prouder to have voted for Leni to be our next President. I’m sharing this with you dahil naniniwala ako sa kakayahan ng isang babae. Naniniwala ako at naninindigan ako para kay Leni.”
Pia has a long history with the lone female presidential candidate. Back in 2015 when Pia tried for the third time in Binibining Pilipinas, it was Leni who asked her famous question about social media wherein she answered the phrase “think before you click.”
A year ago, Pia, along with friends and fellow beauty queens Carla Lizardo and Bianca Guidotti-Santos had Leni as one of their guests on the show Between Us Queens.
