Except instead of guns and explosions, we have subpoenas and awkward silences.

Atty. Baligod is adamant that his clients are simply whistleblowers, bravely exposing corruption for the good of the nation.

They're not in it for the money, he says. They're not seeking fame or fortune. They're just… selfless patriots, willing to risk everything to bring down the bad guys.

But here's where things get a little… fishy.

The NBI wants to interview these Marines, one by one, to get their individual accounts of the alleged "money delivery scheme."

Sounds reasonable, right? But for some reason, Atty. Baligod and his clients are hesitant.

And let's be honest, it does look a little suspicious. Why is Atty. Baligod always jumping in to answer questions?

Why are the Marines so reluctant to speak for themselves? Why are they so afraid of being interviewed separately?

Public office is a responsibility... it is not an excuse to treat others poorly.

The higher the power and status become ... it should be matched with humility, not superiority.
