The report of the autopsy of the middleman state that there was no foul play.  Some quarters said: "bangungot" was the reason why he died.

A police officer later debunked that theory when he said: "Kung bangungot ... e di ibig sabihin natulog siya. Paano siya matulog eh tanghaling tapat.  At paano siya makatulog eh napakainit doon.".  Oo nga naman ... was there somebody on record na binangungot pero gising? Only in the Philippines!

The middleman from Bilibid?  Well, one of the reasons why inmates are always involved ... is their access to cell phones. People on the "inside" makes "outside" deals.

Irony of Life

It is ironic. Joel Escorial the alleged gunman of Percy Lapid uses body armor.  He used a helmet as if he was going to a combat battle ... and my wild guess - a bulletproof vest too?

For somebody who resorted to killing to make a living and doesn't hesitate to shoot the victim with eyes wide open, it is ironic he uses body armor to protect himself.  The table was turned,  TV Patrol has immortalized how he fears for his life as he hides from would-be-retaliators using his escort bodies.
