Korona Virus For Miss World 2021

I think this just shows how slow Miss World is in making decisions.  Instead na korona and maiuwi ng mga kandidata Korona Virus Pala.

Think about this:

1. If I were Miss World, they will announce the Top 30 now.  Then this 30 can stay until everything clears up. Case in point is Miss France in Miss Universe who tested positive but was able to attend the finals in just days of confinement and rest.

2. Other candidates who were not in the Top 30 are allowed to go home.  What is the point of making them return again after 90 days? Imagine the hurdle of coming back only to find yourself losing again?

3.  If the candidates were to go back after 90 days, some of them will not make the effort anymore if they know they have a slimmer chance. And then there's a question about their skyrocketing expenses, not to mention the problems of securing the visa once again.

4. There are just a lot of fast-track races, in the midst of this pandemic. They should have canceled all these events and concentrated on just the swimwear, the evening gown, and the interview just like in Miss Universe.

5. 17 candidates tested positive and the reason maybe is that they were exposed in these events where Covid protocols were not observed, no social distancing and the candidates in their photos were not wearing masks.

6.  And this decision of making everybody come back in 90 days is anticlimactic.  Is Julia trying to give the crown to somebody who tested positive at the moment and is moving heaven and earth to give her the coronation that she deserved at the expense of 97 others?

7.  And the nagging question is, what if Julia changes her mind? What if the efforts the candidate has put up in the preliminaries will just be put down the drain or on the way to being lost and wasted?

ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN IN 90 DAYS.  AND FOR THE MASTER CHEF, SHE DOESN'T CARES IF YOU CAME BACK TWICE

OR YOU SPENT THOUSANDS.... ONLY TO SEE YOURSELF GOING HOME EMPTY-HANDED!

And then we heard some hush-hush about the favored candidate. I have the suspicion that it is India.  Julia wants to rewrite history so people will talk about it. Do you think people will not take the bait if India will have a twin victory one more time courtesy of Miss Universe and Miss World? Miss World is banking on this, it is just like Ripleys Believe It or not happening for the third time.

I have seen already the trailer of this. when Priyanka Chopra said this in her interview with Fox. Priyanka said, “I was very excited about it. The last time India had a Miss Universe was Lara Dutta in the year 2000. That was the year that I won Miss World as well. She has brought home the crown after 21 years and she is 21, so she was born in the year that I won Miss World.” She laughed as she made the observation about their ages.

Before somebody bashes me for this, I just want to make it clear I have nothing against Manasa.  It is just that Julia is very transparent ... and very predictable. I can read her like a book I don't care if she wins.  I am just pointing out Julia's attitude and demeanor. That's all.

Israel Does Not Believe In Hometown Decisions?

Did anybody ask this question? Does Israel believe in hometown decisions?  Or they are just the most honest people in the world?

Hometown decisions are said when the host country delegate won.  It is also a  decision whereby the host country candidate,  is given every benefit of the doubt by the judging officials and was given preferential treatment. And people always assume, the host country will automatically include their delegate in the Top 16 spot. That was also the overwhelming sentiment. when everybody reserves one spot for Miss Israel on the debate on who will make it in the Miss Universe Top 16.

Did Noa Cochva really deserve a place in a Top 16?  Or is Israel just like to rub it on our face that they can handle sacrificing their candidate in the name of fairness and candor.

Indeed, hometown decisions (or having that impression) are creating a lot of uproars especially when the competition is too tight. Just for the record (not that I am insinuating there was a hometown decision) here are Miss Universe winners who have won in their own country:

Why Did Biden Win?

Totoy Pasiboy Comments on Why Biden Win? He said: Oh I am sorry if I have misunderstood you or I offended you in some way.  Are you a Republican?  Don't get me wrong and I respect your choice. But what you are saying is not how the world is looking at it.

Why did Biden win? That's a big mystery to me and the majority of  Americans. As far as I know, he holds the record of winning the presidency without campaigning at all, thanks to the help of Covid. Where can you find a candidate beating and slaughtering his opponent when only a handful of Democrats are interested in his journey to the White House. 

There was almost zero attendance in his rallies but only a few Democrats question how on earth he won. In his political rallies, it was kind of eerie seeing him talking to 50 or so supporters and all of them stayed inside their cars due to Covid (it looked like the rally was held in a drive-in cinema where the audience are sitting inside their cars) compared to Trump who Covid or no Covid was filling the stadium, airports, and football fields to the rafters. 

There were no signs that Biden is going to win and in his social media, he always mentioned those cryptic messages that he is going to win no matter what (and nobody in their right minds believed him, for how can they? Their political rallies were dull, the attendees were few and the reception was lukewarm. The only thing that was consistent was that he is positive he is going to win. Do they have aces on their sleeves?

And then the election day came & fraud-red was the color of the day. People who died years ago has risen from their grave and voted for Biden. A lot of ghost voters came in droves making a queue for him. People who were out of state manage to vote via absentee ballots using their addresses. Observers were thrown out in the polling places. Suspicious activities envelop the night.  And there were computer glitches that witness widespread clandestine and under-the-counter activities - votes that were added and subtracted. These are just a minuscule example of why Biden won over Trump despite his dwindling mental functioning.  

All it takes is for Biden and his party to raise their arms and Shout win at all cost (even though their means of achieving that is deceitful and dishonest. And they can always cook one thousand and one means and ways just to be in the upper hand. 

And to answer your question Totoy ... I am not a Republican.  I am apolitical.  I just go with what is right and who is doing the right thing for the country. Don't worry I am not offended in any way. If Biden does something good, he will have my support.  But at the moment everything is going downhill,  From the immigration crises in the South to burning and looting in big cities, to Trump's second impeachment that loses steam, to the amateurish withdrawal from Kabul, to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and most especially Biden's continued mental decline a lot of those that voted for him have deep regrets. Check for Biden's approval ratings, and this early a red wave is imminent ... and it is coming in the midterm election.

Let us put it this way Totoy, if the Republican wins the majority in the house and the senate in the midterm election and if Donald Trump will be reelected in 2024, it means that what you are hearing in the news and TV is the product of the collusion between Democrats and the mainstream media who serves as the apologist, the strategist, and the propagandist of the left. They are pro-Democrats and in their eyes, they can do no wrong. And look at CNN, there is no way for them to go but rock-bottom.

I am not even voting Totoy. Just a neutral observer. But I am a very good judge of character and this is the reason why I am here - to expose the Biden and the Nawat's of the world for what they really are - not thru violent means - but by just being vocal and mirror to them the ills that are plaguing the country and the people that are abusing the power that is entrusted to them.

And as a neutral observer, there are thousands of questions haunting me in the night. Here are some of them.

1. Why did Twitter terminate Donald Trump's account with seventy-eight million followers and the Ayatollah of the world and their derivatives are active members? Wasn't that restricting Trump and famished millions of his followers with the information they care about?

2.  Same thing with Facebook,  why is it that conservative views are being censored, gagged, and are muted. Was it because they want to silence them?

3.  And this video on Youtube that was published January 2021 under Fox News with conservative-leaning constituents who were vocal about their beliefs, why is it that all of those comments were washed and disinfected and the majority of the comments now are bashing the host? Go figure!

4. Search google now, about Jan 6 insurrection as they call it, you can seldom find any conservative points of view. All you see are the mainstream media in cahoots with the left trying to give innocent people of the world a narrative that sounds favorable to their cause. No wonder people in the Philippines are painting a different picture of Trump.

Totoy I know you are an intelligent man, and you should know by now that what we hear and see on TV and on the radio are not exactly all true. They are there for one reason, and that is to condition your mind and to control you by offering you deceitful information.  I told you I don't have party affiliations, I may suffer in silence, but I know in my heart something is very wrong with what is happening around us. I may dissent somebody else once or twice, but what else can I do except mind my own business.

And just in case what I said that if there will be a Red wave coming in the midterm election, and if Trump will be reelected in 2024 I will inform you so you can celebrate with me, not as a Republican but as a neutral outsider who believes in what is right, and supporting the RIGHT people who will do RIGHT.

Breaking The Tie

Miss Grand International for two years in a row wrestled with the arduous task of breaking a tie. Noting that tiebreak last year made a lot of hush-hush and the netizens stopped, looked, and listened, Nawat without batting an eyelash thought it is a surefire and a foolproof formula that it will click again. Clearly, someone with power and influence in the organization thinks this is a genius psychological tactic to manipulate the viewers and the fans. Nawat knowing how gullible he is made a poor copy of it this year. Unfortunately, it didn't work this time.

Fans tend to be lenient about gimmicks being recycled and reinvented as long as there are elements to make it fresh is done. Once the gimmick has been told, the second attempt makes it a poor copy of the original. The cat has been out of the bag and repeating it again loses its steam ... and its novelty. And for Nawat, once habits are formed it is hard to break ... he tends to repeat it, thinking the shelf life of the gimmick doesn't have expiration dates. 

Whether there was really a tie or not, only Nawat knows. This leads Vinusya to ask: Can you really select a deserving woman with just one question in a tie break? This contest is a fraud. there's no reliable source of result computation.

This is actually a good question. 

A tie-break is an extra game that is played in a tennis match when the score in a set is 6-6. The player who wins the tiebreak wins the set. In pageantry, it is only Nawat's device or game plan so he or his organization will get extra social media mileage. Can you imagine two last women standing and they have the same scores? It will surely make you stop and pay attention.

But the doubting Thomases of pageantry was quick to probe the statement: How did that happen when Nawat and company don't believe in scoresheets or tabulators?  They have judges, yes, but they were only there to give Nawat some company, not to judge.

In pageantry, the power to control the direction of the result of the contest is shared among the judges. Oftentimes these people will not see eye-to-eye, and votes may end in a draw. There are ways to resolve this situation by breaking the tie and moving on with business as usual.

One way of resolving the tie is to verify the votes to ensure that they are accurate. If the vote was conducted by ballot, recount the ballots. If it was conducted orally, ask the judges to restate their votes. If there is a scoresheet then comb it out by way of inspection.  

And resolving a tie will just be a breeze or a piece of cake if the organization will employ an accounting firm so whoever will be announced the winner will not be dubious or shady.

The problem with Miss Grand International is that they don't use scoresheets,  nor do they employ a firm to handle this delicate job. I know Miss Universe always strut that they use Ernst and Young to count the votes.  And Binibining Pilipinas prances the company represented by Mr. Robles who always become a regular fixture in every BPCI contest.

There is also another way to break the tie. Allow the chair of the board of judges to cast a vote if she has not already done so. The chair of a board is permitted to vote on all matters, but on many boards, the chair does not vote unless there is a tie. If the chair has not already voted, then her vote will break the tie. For example, if you have a board of seven people including the chair, and three have voted in favor and three against, allowing the chair to vote will result in a four to three majority.

Just like in American politics, Article I, Section 3, Clause 4 of the United States Constitution provides that the vice president of the United States is the ex officio president of the Senate and that the vice president may cast a vote in the Senate only in order to break a tie. Since January 20, 2021, the current 117th Congress' Senate has been divided 50–50 between Republicans and Democrats; therefore, Vice President Kamala Harris' tie-breaking vote gives the Democrats the Senate majority.
