Choose One National Costume For Ahtisa Manalo

 The creative team of Miss Ahtisa Manalo, who will soon be competing in Miss Universe 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand, is in a frantic mood about what kind of gimmick they will resort to ...to make her participation competitive. 

They were pouring all their creative juices into coming up with the most ingenious and innovative national costume she would wear, one that would jolt the senses of the whole universe, which was expected to draw a beeline just to witness who could dress their selected candidates in the most imaginative national costume possible.

To select a national costume for Miss Universe Philippines, Ahtisa should hold a "powwow" with her team of experts to conceptualize a design that best represents Filipino culture and heritage.

The theme could be any Filipino mythology and folklore, which will provide a framework for creating elaborate but symbolic costumes, with emphasis placed on artistic craftsmanship and the story the costume tells. 

The goal is to create a costume, not a traditional  "national attire" that will allow significant creative freedom to express the country's diverse culture. 

Or the costume could be anything that demonstrates and makes the Philippines unique ... it can even carry a message with political coloring. 

The costume can even discuss something related to current political events... or it could be an attire created as an instrument to showcase some dark realities of their lives. 

A case of art imitating life.

Miss Philippines Fraulein Mata Mostoles wins Miss Freedom of the World 2025 1st Runner Up in Kosovo.

Aside from winning the 1st Runner Up crown, she also bagged the following awards: Miss Petrol Company, Miss Friendship, Miss Catwalk, and Miss Welch.

Nagtataka si Congressman Chel Diokno sa kanyang pagiimibistiga sa Kongreso ... tanong niya :Kung walang tinatago ... bakit ayaw magsign ng waiver ng bank secrecy at telco records?

Don't be too naive Cong at huwag ka nang magtanong. Alam namin na alam mo ang reason bakit ayaw mag-sign ng waiver.  MAY TINATAGO ... plain and simple. Di ba Cong?

We were captivated by everything, so we can't wait to find out what happened next. It is a thrilling movie game, and we are eagerly anticipating how the scriptwriter and director will handle the outcome and how they will conclude it.

Magaling na director si Boy Kilay at hindi matawaran ang contribution ng mga supporting senatorial cast. Kanya kanya silang pakulo at eksena. Aminin natin. The suspense and intrigue of the convoluted storyline had contributed to making this magnum opus... the most riveting, if not the most engaging and absorbing, political drama ever made.

Nabitin kami sa ending ... dahil inabot ng baha ang Maynila. Pesteng yawa ... pati ba naman baha gustong umeksena?

Yon pala ang baha pala ang gigising sa umiidlip at natutulog na mga kaisipan ng lahat. Kailangan malubog tayo sa baha para bigyan ng pagkataon ang presidente na magisip at magimbestiga why despite billions of pesos spent on flood control projects bakit parang hindi ito nakakatulong ... iisipin mo ba naman kada ulan ... major baha kaagad? It is just not adding up ... and it doesn't make sense.

Sabi nga ng isang internet observer ... yong lahat na tumutulong sa VP sa kanyang impeachment para malusutan nito ang kanyang kaso sa corruption ... ay sila pa ang unang nalagay sa iskandalo at isa-isa silang tinutugis. Sa parehong kasalanan din ... sa corruption.

Kawawa naman ang isang bagitong senador at akala niya umpisa nang maging kulay rosas ang kanyang umpisa. Isang mariing sampal ito sa kanya ... mantakin mo isang linggo pa lang sa isang napakataas na committee ... ligwak na agad? "Those who exalt themselves shall be humbled ... and those who humble themselves shall be exalted."

Wow ... kung totoo nga ito ... ang Makapangyarihan sa itaas really works in HIS own mysterious ways.

Wala man lang isa from the office ang interesado? To add insult to injury, the VP, according to some Facebook grapevine, was spotted watching the musical "Dear Evan Hansen" at Solaire.

Sa mga true blue DDS diyan na walang kapaguran sa pag depensa sa kanya kahit hindi na tama ang kanyang mga desisyon ... ito ba ang kandidato na dapat ihalal natin sa 2028? Kailan ba maimulat ninyo inyong mga mata? Aba kung ganitong kandidato ang gusto ninyo ... huwag kami.

Aba nalulunod na sa baha ang Davao ... absent pa rin at mas inuuna pa ang sariling kaligayahan? Kung hindi absent ... VIRTUAL ... kung hindi virtual ... on VACATION leave ... kung wala sa bakasyon kahit GHOST na lang ok pa rin sa inyo? Dito napatunayan ng marami ... na ang pagiging kontento na lang ay isa pa lang stupidity?

And this was not the first time she did this. Remember the time when the so-called designated survivor left the country amid a time when millions of Filipinos were grappling with up to two-storey flooding? I don't blame her critics when they could not hold their punches ... and a flood of flak hounds her when she came back.

Heaven forbid if she dodges the impeachment and gets elected in 2028, and still manages to continue her habit of fleeing the wrath of the typhoons ... there's no one to blame but the voters' idiocy.

There oughta be a law with high officials' DISAPPEARING ACTS- especially when a looming emergency or disaster is present. A concert abroad already paid for... or whether it was a planned trip ... will never be an excuse for being AWOL at the time when there is a crisis. Leaving the country is downright insensitive ... if not callous and unsympathetic.

Same with non-appearance and non-attendance, absenteeism, and truancy in a deliberation hearing where her presence is needed.

Kung ayaw niya or tinatamad lang siya ... bakit pa siya gustong umopo pa sa gobyerno in the first place? At gusto pang maging presidente. Spare the country. Nakapagtatakang bakit niya pinipilit ang sarili sa trabahong ayaw niyang sipotin at puntahan.

Ang bansa ay nauumay na pinagmasdan ang isang spoiled brat at dito pa niya naisipang magkalat. Di ba mahal siya ng mga tao sa Davao ... e di doon na lang siya naghasik ng lagim ... masama man ang kaniyang ginagawa ... okey lang dahil mahal naman nila siya. Forgive and forget na lang.

Sa gitna ng kagulohan sa corruption sa Kongreso ... bulag na lang ang hindi magisip: Kung ano man ang problema ng ilang senador at congressmen ngayon ... ganoon din kaya ang mga ginawa ni VP kaya hindi sila tinatantanan ng marami na ma-impeach?

And since when have you seen diehard supporters cheering their idols in their CLANDESTINE and CLOSED-DOOR activities of emptying government coffers and squandering people's money?  They either give a "thumbs up" or welcome what they do with an open hand.

Since when have they shrugged off ghost flood control projects ... and nodded their heads in agreement that it is okay to use substandard materials for the much-needed deterrent to our unwelcomed guests - the floods?

Kung may nagnanakaw sa mga idol nila ... the more pa silang nagiging "KUNSINTIDOR" at wala silang pakialam kung "ENABLER" na ang turing ng iba sa kanila.

Pare-pareho sila. They are too peas in a pod. This expression alludes to the seeds contained in a pea pod, which do indeed look very much alike. 

They also BEHAVE alike ... and THINK alike.

A study states that DDS are susceptible to fake news as compared to other political groups. 

They are a group of people who accept anything that is fed to them. They care less whether it is fake or not as long as it came from the same group they belong in.
