The Story Thickens

The volatile situation in the West Philippine Sea has opened a can of worms. After the Philippine Coastguard removed the barriers placed by China in some WPS hotspots ...  there seems to be a domino effect in the structure and the way the congressmen think in the house.  Where before everybody was all for pampering the OVP with luscious confidential funds to the tune of 125 Million pesos spent only in the span of 11 days ... now they pull back and are singing a different tune.

And what is this we heard from the grapevine ... that the House scraps OVP's suggestion to have a 500 million confidential fund and the money earmarked for OVP and DepEd was stripped off and will be redirected to agencies whose functions are directly related to protecting the national security like the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA), National Security Council (NSC), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR).

Start heating the popcorn and keep the noise popping ... I don't want to miss this for the world.
