Patrick Bet David is an Iranian-American entrepreneur author and YouTuber. He is also part-owner of the New York Yankees and hosts the entrepreneurship YouTube channels Valuetainment and PBD Podcast.

Patrick thinks that Miss Universe is mismanaged. If given the chance after hearing that the Thai owner has filed for bankruptcy he is interested in buying it and wants to highlight Miss Universe as a contest for all beautiful "genetically females" around the world.

He has a high respect for women and appreciates what they can do that men can't.

I can't help but agree. Miss Universe is only for beautiful single women - not for single moms, married women, transexuals, and plus-size candidates. I am for inclusivity and I have nothing against the above-mentioned candidates.  But there's always a place for everyone ... as they have a pageant of their own ... solely their own (Miss International Queen for transgenders, Mrs. Universe for single moms and married women, and Plus Size International for the voluptuous.)  Sad to say that their insistence to be a part of Miss Universe has downgraded the pageant into a free-for-all match. And let's be honest ... they are alienating sponsors.

I just can't fathom a merry mix-up of candidates  ... can you imagine if, in the next years, there will be 10 plus-size candidates, 7 transexuals, and 20 single moms with children? The uneven look on stage with different body types and physiques can be a challenge to the naked eye ... and strange too ... not to mention amusing. If there is a chance for Patrick to assume leadership ...  age limit can be up to 30 years old.

It is time to restore the prestige of Miss Universe ... something that became a circus in the past two years.

The owner wants to silence all naysayers. They created the mistake and blamed Filipinos for reacting in a negative light. Their lips are sealed and it looks like they don't have plans of dousing water to the fiasco that is already ablaze and in flames.

Instead of putting closure to the controversy, they fanned its embers by being silent and not transparent. Why will the owner get angry if Filipinos continue speculating? That's what you get when you are not honest enough to admit there was a mistake. You can't straighten a booboo by creating another booboo.

Look at Steve Harvey ... at the first sign that he noticed something was wrong ... he was man enough to remedy it right away ... not sweeping it under the rug. Steve gets a little bit of blame ... but he has a conscience not to cover it up. And you see the result ... Steve gets the admiration and the respect from us and from people around the world. Everybody makes a mistake ... that's human nature. A simple apology is all we need and a statement and a little explanation to end this storm once and for all. Regarding the grabbing incident ... the talk of women's empowerment in the pageant is losing its grip and its essence under Anne's leadership. Talk is cheap ... and what we saw in the clip ... is a wake-up call. It is time to sound the alarm signals
