A mature person is somebody who is as pliant as a bamboo ready to face whatever life's forecast there is today.

Some Ironies

There are two stories in this scenario.

In a materialistic world ... one wanted to sample the best fast-food outlet, restaurant, and bistro for THEMSELVES ... but he becomes cheap and close-fisted when he thought of bringing something to OTHERS.

The other story ... showed another reality.  Just because you saw Dad or your brother in Chowking ... you expect them to bring a Lauriat or a Chao fan for you?

Are You Materialistic?

In a materialistic world ... a materialistic person is anyone who is obsessively focused on money and cares deeply about owning luxury goods rather than intellectual or spiritual things. Their main concern is wealth, possessions, image, and status. A materialistic person seeks comfort and security in money and possessions and always chooses them over people. 

They would rather spend money on things than on experiences. This is because they believe that objects will make them happy and fulfilled when in reality, the relationships we have with others matter most.

They start thinking about materialistic objects as an extension of their identity and create an expectation that they achieve some level of satisfaction possessing them. This materialistic value system is causing them to live in a world where so many people become hardened and lose access to who they truly are.

In today's materialistic world, there is a risk of people becoming slaves to money. Enough said.

Question Of The Day

I believe in this.  You don't need REVENGE to get EVEN. Just sit back and relax and fasten your seatbelt. All you need is to wait ... stretch that leg and have some popcorn.

Those who hurt you deeply will goof and mess up, and if all systems go, KARMA will place you in the front seat so you can watch what is he going through firsthand.
