Impeach VS Convict

Isang local DDS ang naringgan after the impeachment of Inday Sara.

E ano ngayon? Na-IMPEACH pa lang ... hindi pa na-CONVICT. Na-IMPEACH palang ng House of Representatives ... pero hindi pa na-COBVICT ng Senate.

Aba eh... naghihintay pala ng milagro sa Senado?

Medyo confident ang isang ito.

"Aba oo naman ... gusto mo bang mag-name names ako?" hamon niya. Ayaw man patulan ng kaibigan ko dahil ayaw niya to put some senators on the spot ... pero mapilit siya ... kaya tinaggap niya ang hamon.

At nagumpisa na siyang nag-namedrop. Mukhang updated nga ang DDS na ito at buong giting pa niyang sinabi ang dalawang pangalan ng magkapatid sa politika, magkapatid na taga showbiz, tatlong lalaking artista, isang mag-ina, kapatid ng presidente, 3 alalay ng dating presidente.

Aba eh ... kung totoo pala ang sinabi niya ... hindi na pala sagrado ang impeachment process? Puede pala magawan ng paraan gamit ang koneksyon ... pagkakaibigan at utang na loob?

Kung sa Congreso dangal na at pangalan ang itinaya nila ... sa Senado pala pinaglaruan (?) lang nila?

And acquittal or conviction pala ng isang akusado at maisagawa at maipagkatuparan kung marami kang kaibigan sa senado? At dahil sa pareho kayo ng interest ... at hindi na sila makinig sa mga "resibo" at mga factual events at pangyayari? Wala na ba silang dignidad at pwede nilang gawaran ng NOT GUILTY verdict and isang GUILTY?

Impeachment will be an exercise in futility then if that is the case. It is pointless and not worth doing. 

If Congress has been putting a lot of effort into this ... tapos pagdating sa Senate ... it will fall on deaf ears ... gaganahan ka pa ba?

It is too bad na marami na ang senador ang  naringgan ng kanilang position. Hindi pa nag-umpisa ang trial ... inosenti na at Santa ang trato nila. Sarado na ang tenga at pagiisip.

Hindi ko ma-blame ang ibang kolumnista at vloggers who paint a different hue sa almost kalahati sa komposisyon ng senado.

Nag-diyos-diyosan ba sila at mas gusto pa nilang malugmok ang Pilipinas sa kamay ng mga taong wala namang pagmamahal sa naghihingalong Pinoy?

May mga iba nga who asked: Senador nga ba sila ng bayan? O mga senador sila ng mga nagdaang rehimen?

Hindi daw magattend ng Impeachment  si Inday Sara.  "Ayaw daw niyang ma-INTIMIDATE ang mga prosecutors at mga senators.

Talaga lang. Nakaintimidate ba siya ... or umiiwas siya sa kahihiyan at mahubdan na ang katotohanan? Kung aattend siya siguradong ipasagot sa kanya ang mga tanong na iniiwasan niyang sagotin ... noon pa man?

Sa totoo lang ... natatakot SILA ... or natatakot ka?

In the same press conference ,,, Inday Sara continued to deny na meron siyang threat to kill the president, the first lady, and the speaker.

I did not have any assassination threat to the President ... sila lang ang nagsasabi niyan.  Sila lang nagsasabi ng assassination ,,, sila lang ang nagsasabi na may assasin ,,, at gun man,"

This question was brought up only today. Michael in his poultry farm takes care of chicks intended to be layer chickens. He wants to sell it to me, so I asked whether roosters lay eggs? Dahil may nakita ako sa mga manok niya na kung umasta ay parang mga "tibo". Would it be fair na bibilhin ko ang mga manok na pangsabong pala ... at hindi ang original plan na para mangitlog?

The answer is NO to his surprise. Roosters can not lay eggs. They are males and are not physically capable of laying eggs. So it would be dumb foolish ... kung bibilhin ko ito.

Female chickens are raised to produce eggs. Hens ovulate a new yolk every 24-26 hours. Isang itlog kada araw.

Sagot ni Michael: "Ayaw mo noon ... may kasama na silang ka-DATE at may ka-MATE pa. At any RATE ,,, kahit LATE na ... FATE has brought them together."

""Huwag mo akong i-sales talk ... halatadong gusto mo lang sila i-dispose." Ibinalik ko sa kanya ang tanong sa kanya: "Do female chickens need a rooster to lay eggs? At nalulungkot ba sila kung wala man lang "tandang" sa kanilang pupuntahan?"

I googled the answer and the answer was NO. Female chickens don't need a rooster to make their life complete? At lalong hindi nila sila kailangan para sila ay mangitlog.

A happy, healthy hen will begin laying eggs at about six months old (kahit hindi nadiligan) and continue laying until all of the eggs that they are born with ... have been laid. 

Surprisingly, hens may actually prefer not to be constantly “bothered” by a rooster.

Question: There is a mistaken notion that chicken feed like Integra "makes" the egg. Is that true?

Answer: No.  Chicken feeds do not necessarily MAKE the egg. There is a big difference between MAKE and STIMULATE.

Chicken feeds do not make the egg ... but they stimulate and provide the necessary nutrients for a hen to produce eggs through natural biological processes; essentially, the hen's body uses the nutrients from the feed to "nourish the egg, not the feed itself forming the egg."

Yes, the type of chicken feed you provide significantly impacts whether a chicken will lay eggs, as a proper "layer feed" contains the necessary nutrients like calcium, vitamins, and protein that are crucial for egg production; essentially, while feed alone doesn't "make" a chicken lay eggs, a good quality layer feed provides the essential building blocks for healthy egg development. 

As explained before ... female chickens are born with thousands of immature yolk (ova) in their ovaries.

These yolks develop into eggs over time. Poultry owners used chicken feeds to provide the necessary building blocks for egg creation in the chicken's body.

A Slip Of The Tongue?

 An occasional slip of the tongue ... or a slip of the pen is normal and is quickly forgiven by the person listening or reading... that is ... if they even notice it. Even when they do, most people most of the time will recognize a slip of the tongue or pen for what it is and realize that what you meant to say or write ... is not what you did say or write.

The actress was reminiscing the good old days with his ex by scanning an old photo album. She was almost teary-eyed ... it was a very poignant scene ... until she said this line:

"These images in the album INVOKE nostalgia ... some bitter-sweet memories of the past."

If you are not listening well because you got distracted by the pathos of the dramatic scene... you missed the slip of the tongue. Instead of using INVOKE ... the better word is EVOKE.

Evoke is to bring or recall (a feeling, memory, or image) to the conscious mind. It means to elicit a response. or bring a scenario or an emotion into your mind.

While invoke is to call on (a deity or spirit) for instance in a prayer, as a witness for inspiration. It means you pray to, plead with, beseech, implore, or supplicate. It also means to cite or appeal to (someone or something) as an authority for an action or in support of an argument.

Somebody differentiated the two terms: "When you evoke something, you draw it out, be it an action or emotion but when you invoke something, you call upon it. An easy way to remember it is that when you invoke a being or person, their presence will evoke a feeling or reaction from you."

Invoke means “to call upon” or “to mention,” and is often used when someone is identifying a law, a privilege, or an authority, as in “invoke previous court decisions.” Evoke can mean both “to bring to mind” as in “evoke memories” and “to cause to happen,” as in “evoked laughter from the crowd.”
