Did You See Growth In You?

Based on the graphic chart above, would you describe yourself as stagnant? This means you did not rise or dip in your progress from 2 or 3 years ago - meaning you have stayed the same. You were not flowing in the current or stream. Your performance assumed the FLAT LINE... inactive ... motionless ... still ... lifeless ... or were you dead?

To see a visible sign of life in your personal and professional life at least a PQRST wave in your ECG tracings can be felt and clearly discernable.

Or you did not grow at all. The opposite in the process of growing is decreasing ... failing ... or waning. Was that because the scenario shows you lack personal progress and development ... or was there something prohibiting your growth and expansion?

Time flies. Before you see yourself running late or behind schedule ... examine yourself and make the necessary changes in your outlook ... and mindset.

As the image above shows ... it is indeed scary to see yourself in the same position ... where there is not even a glimmer of hope ... or a glint of pulsation can be seen.

Don't Lose Time

I believe in all five mentioned above ... but we are more concerned about the time you lost because you always hesitated and you dilly-dallied. The "motivational butterflies" in the image want to remind you that when you lose your time ... it is GONE for good.

Whatever the reason why there seems stagnation or no growth in the way people perceive you ... is a reflection of the CHOICE you have made. If you want to see a bump in your self-o-meter ... try another option. There is always an alternative. Haven't you asked yourself why success is snail-paced ... and quite elusive? If you were just honest with yourself ... the answer may be staring at you.

Be tolerant and be open-minded. Was the sluggish personal and economic growth the result of your being trapped in your old and fungus-faced beliefs that you have right now? Do you think all the conditions in your present life ... is the life you have wanted all along? Did you ask yourself ...  the status quo that you are enjoying at the moment is the reason why money and opportunity are scarce? For all we know it is the very same reason that might have eroded your chances of winning? As experts say ... don't resist the much-needed changes you need to implement ... in your life. You will never know unless you try!

Time is not refundable. This quote is just a reminder that time is a finite resource. If we don't value their importance ... time will come when we will exhaust TIME.

An occasional slip of the tongue ... or a slip of the pen is normal and is quickly forgiven by the person listening or reading... that is ... if they even notice it. Even when they do, most people most of the time will recognize a slip of the tongue or pen for what it is and realize that what you meant to say or write ... is not what you did say or write.

Okay, the public has been a forgiving bunch.  But for LRT management to be complacent with their spelling errors and dismiss and rationalize it as "tao lang ... nagkakamali din" ... for a big company who have been remiss with their syntactic responsibility ... it speaks volumes of what kind of leaders they have.

The glaring "investagation" anomaly is maybe small to some ... but it will surely haunt them in the weeks to come --- NBI in Taft Avenue take note. Your name and your agency is slaughtered. MUCH!

Slip of the Pen

 If you are a grammar police who usually gets irritated and cannot stand your penchant for the use of the fractured King's language ... incoherent sentence structure and semantics ... mind-boggling syntax and word coordination ... this nook is not for you. 

But traveling from Aparri to Jolo ... we encountered signage in the streets that managed to put a smile on our faces ... even though Robin Padilla's grandiose display of bad opinions ... or China's flexing his superpower muscle ... has riled up and angered our tender sensibilities.

We are here to celebrate (not mock) the little cracks and flaws in the manner we communicate ourselves. All of us make mistakes ... and at a time when a kilo of rice at 20 pesos is next to impossibility ... we need a little outlet to have a hearty laugh.

And no matter how over-use the cliche goes ... Laughter is indeed ... the best medicine.

The singer almost choked to death when she received a song request (written on a piece of a table napkin) from the audience declaring his fondness for his favorite love song performed by an all-female pop band ... the Bangles.

Obviously, he meant Eternal Flame ... but goodness gracious ... he wrote Eternal Phlegm.  It is almost like he is saying Plemang Walang Kalunaslunas ... o baka may TB na yan?

See the negative outrage from the local band caused by your homonym deficiency ... and who can blame them for reacting that way? It is repulsive ... let alone ... disgusting!
