The Double Standard

To the Catholics in the Philippines, why is it that if other churches, sects, and pastors endorse a specific candidate you are so quiet and you don't have an opinion on why the church interferes with the people's decision?

If a Catholic Church gave you guidelines on what candidate to vote (not the same as endorsing a candidate) you are so vocal and you despise and hate being reminded and you even have the gall to verbally attack the priest.
