It is ironic. I almost fell from where I was sitting when Senator Sherwin Gatchalian said that the 23,000 Filipinos who will be displaced should the government ban Pogos will be given employment.
The statement left a sour taste in the mouth because thousands of ABS CBN personnel were laid off resulting in a cease and desist order in May 2020 and there was not a tinge of concern from the lawmakers especially those who voted NO to the franchise..
