Viewpoints and Mindset: Giselle Buntan's latest artwork is getting viral in socmed.  She studies at Bulacan Stae University and she titled this art piece as Sama-samang Titindig. These are hands of millions of Filipinos that symbolize a concerted effort to stand up again when situations are hard and uncertain. The hands were reaching out for the light that will give us hope so we will be freed from the clutches of the darkness of the past. This post has gone viral and socmed's comments were buzzing.

  Good job Miss Giselle Buntan, you nailed the saying "Art should comfort the disturbed, and disturbed the comfortable"...Some people in the comments are expressing their symbolic interpretations and it brings them comfort while others got disturbed based on their interpretations..

  Siguro sa mga maralitang Pilipinong nasa laylayan at nakakaranas ngayon ng lahat ng hirap, ito ang sumisimbolo, umaasa pa din ng tunay na pagbabago na makakaahon sa kumunoy ng kadukhaan at kaapihan, subalit sa mga nasa tuktok na sinasamantala ang sitwasyon upang sila lang ang umangat at ang iba ay palubog. Di ko masasabing sabaysabay tayong tumindig. Sa positibong pananaw ,,, sana ganun ang gusto nating makamit ... ngunit sa realidad minsan mahirap na mangyari dahil sa ilang mapagsamantala at ang gusto'y sila lang ang makaahon.

  This is how you can say an art is good. It can draw different emotions/feelings sa titingin, may it be negative or positive. Still great work. Not many can do this.
