Minor Things Makes You Smile
Humor can be dissected, as a frog can. True to form, philosophers, scientists, and certain left-brained comedians have been scrutinizing humor’s innards or viscera for a while seeking a serious understanding of what makes things funny.
According to one scholarly definition, people who have been working on a quantum theory of humor, something is humorous if people cognitively appraise it as funny, if it creates a positive emotion of amusement or if it makes somebody smile or makes him burst into laughter.
There are a lot of situations in life that we found it strange. As bizarre or offbeat they may be, or how trivial, irrelevant and minor it sounds to others if it tickles someone pink, there are still others in this whole wide world who appreciate it to the same degree as his. Who cares about others whose left-leaning attitude and their threshold of tolerance to small things and humor are askew and lopsided?
Here are examples of things that may sound superficial and paltry to some ... but makes you wonder ...they have managed to make you smile.
Did you ever wonder if those birds on the trees are married? Or were they united by Holy Matrimony that they don't care less if they mimic the millennial's exorbitant public display of affection?

Do I Write Humor?
A lot of people think I write humor.
But then I knew a woman who thought that Leni lost because she was not BBM. As an observer of human behavior all I do is question them and I rarely find it funny.
For example, being the owner of a fast-food restaurant, why is it that when we decide to take our lunch, the customers start pouring in, making us eat past 3 PM.
And while we are at it, why is it that if there are no customers, we complain and blame Covid for everything? And why is it that if there was a deluge of customers, we start complaining about how tired we are?
Or why is it that when you are in a hurry, too many things happened to like your car tire got punctured and has not had enough air in it or perhaps a funeral car stopped your vehicle and there were long men and women in black in a somber parade?
And how can you explain the owner of a Doberman who proudly showed his sharp incisors and the owner downplay and pooh-poohed his beastness by saying" he was only saying hi... to you?"
And why is it that when it's summer ... people complain that it is hot, and when it is raining the same people complain that it is muddy and wet?
And the pen with no ink? If your son accidentally placed it in his white polo uniform, why did it turn blue if there was no ink?
And why is it that you report for work ... and then you realize it was your day off?
Or why do I assume those love birds kissing inside the cage are married? Or they are just flirting around and is playing with fire?
And going to the doctor's office, why is it that the first thing I saw is his wilted flowers by the porch. Does he care only about his patients and not his plants?
I have to admit my gateway to humor is crammed and jammed ... and my threshold for laughter is low.
Let us breed and cultivate it ... and find anything funny in everything.
